  1. Merry Christmas to all of the BR family and friends.
  2. Excellent news
  3. Fished out of canoes alot growing up. Sadly a canoe or kayak is no longer an option with my almost 100 year old back. When sitting while fishing every movement(twisting/bending) is at the lower back. Tried a few fishing trips in a canoe and hurt for days.
  4. Done. Wishing your dad the best. It's scary at any age.
  5. Yes, annually. Pond/Bank rigs gets attention as needed.

I supplement with the protein pictured below. I'm bad about skipping meals.
  7. I run 10lb braid on all my bass spinning reels to 6 - 10lb FC. Fishing anything heavier, I'll be using BCer's.
  8. Some bodies of water are diurnal, IMHO. I used to not believe that some bodies of water shutdown after sundown. I've learned otherwise. Fished a friend's pond, where 20 - 40 bass was normal in 4 - 6 hours. 13 night trips produced 2 bass. He tried warning me, but I had to learn the hard way. My home lake is clear and very tough at night. On night trips, I hunting big girls and not numbers.
  9. Rules? My fish clearly are illiterate.
  10. At night for LM, I'm fishing the surface(wake/buzz/frog) or the bottom(jig/big worm). I only use heavy gear and oversized baits after dark. I'm in total agreement with RRocket, in some ponds and lakes the bass just shutdown after dark. I tried over and over to figure those places out only to right them off as night targets.
  11. I use 14 lb Original Stren for standard size Chugbug & PopR
  12. In the 40s, I'd be alright with just a chrome and gold Cotton Cordell 1/2oz jigging spoon with Gamakatsus on it.
  13. Nice. Interested to see what the Smallmouth think. #IfItAin'tBroken 😆
  14. Wait. Are y'all not already supplementing Glenn? Oh well, worth it to me.
  15. I pass within a mile of the BPS/Cabelas once or twice a week on the way to the lake. I never stop with my boat and gear, to prevent involuntary donation. I do visit the store 3 or 4 times a year. My Bait Monkey is nocturnal, so TW, Digitaka, HookUp Tackle, etc. usually get my money.
  16. Double Awesome! Best bassin day ever and a new baby coming.
  17. T-Billy, quit playing around and get to it. 😄 You'll get those 7.
  18. Nice. Those Youtube workout videos are paying off.😆
  19. I don't anger easily but the power company turn the power off to my electric fence while cutting limbs and clearing the powerline. When finished they failed to turn it back on, allowing our cows to destroy a $1,000 of hay and tear the fence down(8 hour repair). I'm glad they were not still around when I finally figure out the power failure, because I was mad enough to chokeslam the idiots.
  20. It's a much quieter than the Spro but seems to be plenty strong. I throw it when I want a subtle bait in calm conditions.
  21. Savage Gear 3D Rad Rat 15" Very affordable rat.

I can assure you they have a dam and it's closer than you'd think. They don't travel very far and they're a pretty solid tough animal so I'd suggest forgoing birdshot.
  23. John Berry's "Mary Did You Know" and "O Holy Night". Went to his Christmas concerts for many years.
  24. Anytime I throw the Rat it's exciting.

My Remington LVSF 221 Fireball is my beaver gun. It has stopped hundreds of tree eaters. Break their dam and snipe them when they come to repair it.
