More time on the water greatly increases your odds of catching a PB. During all those hours the knowledge of what to throw and when to throw it will be garnered.

Fished from 6a -1p today, caught 5 Spots and 5 Hybrids. Four of the Spots hit the Kinky Beaver T - Rigged on deep rocks, one Spot and the Hybrids hit the spoon. Couldn't find, buy, trick, or force feed a LM.

I'd suggest getting some compound cutters before next time. Whopper Plopper hooks aren't thin.

September according to years of past pics is pretty lean round here. Our water temp today was 87.9. We have to cover alot of water to catch a few. At 82 it gets good and that's October for us.

It's a Safe - Bet I wouldn't worry about asking him to go and just show him some fish pics of my last trip or 10. Trying to convince folks to go fish is way way way down on the list of my duties.

Not the Sexy Dawg but I catch Spots & LM on the oyster colored jerkbaits in clear water.

Swim it, glide it, chop it, pause it, and whatever until I figure out they want anything but a glide bait, which is the norm.

I haven't fished spinning gear since I acquired my Aldebarans 5 or 6 months ago. I've proved to myself I can live without them but I'm tired of feeding line so my lures won't pendulum back towards me on long cast in deep water. Pulling a couple off the bench and putting them back into the fray.

817 cast with the Bull Wake and nothing. Bass didn't like the calm conditions.

Fished today for 6 hours. 95% of the time I threw big swimbaits and 5% a swimjig. Caught a 3.21 lb on a swimjig.

A 10.25 is better than strong coffee in the morning.

Catch fish on a Fluke. The boys I fish with joke I can catchem on a Fluke in a rain filled ditch.

Fished in the rain yesterday and gonna fish in it Friday. You got two options when it's hot and raining, wet with sweat in a rain suit, or wet by the rain. Glad you got out.

No Chess for me. My free time is spent fishing, hunting, shooting, prepping for fishing, and fishing.

Fished 5am - 1pm today and caught 4. A Spot on rocks in 20' on a jig and 3 on the Bull Wake.

Nice. The glide rate on helicopters is pretty poor when they quit making noise.
