Frog fishing I like a 7' to 7'2" heavy/fast myself, mine is 7'1" heavy/fast with a 8:3.1 reel on it. 65# braid

You can do it with the Fury 703c, but for most of what you are wanting to throw I would go with the 734C like TBAG above said! I have both and would rather throw most of what you are talking about on the 734. I am using the 703C for my squarebills though.

I believe there are some double digit bass to be had in Ohio, and most likely in the strip ponds down in the AEP Recreation area near McConnelsville. I personally have caught one pushing 7 pounds down there and know a guy that caught one close to 9 pounds a week after I caught mine. You just have to work for the big bass down there, and a lot of guys are not willing to do so.

Stupid question everyone. What rod do you guys throw baby bull shads on? I bought two of them and now trying to figure out the best rod to throw them on?

I have heads like the ones in your photo, they are made by Poor Boys Baits. I also recently found a brand of stupid tube jig heads that I really like, they are made by Blue Rock Custom Tackle.

Really like his videos, I feel like he is a better teacher of things fishing than most guys doing to YouTube stuff.

I just ordered two of baby bull shads today, can't wait to get them. Still have some time till I can fish them ( darn you winter), but at least I can hold them!!!?

I also got a couple of those Kaden rods, and needed a couple new rods! The red and black of the MP and the red and black of the Kaden are awesome looking together! Got my MPs today when I got home from work, they fit nicely on the Kaden rods. Very comfortable to hold!

I have one MP that I bought when they first came out, only fished it a couple times and think it is a really nice reel. I have 4 MB's and they are awesome reels, with the little bit of time I have had with the MP, I think it may be even better than the MB! I like the MP so much I have two more on the way to my house as we speak!!!

You ain't lying!!!!? I look at it like this, the other guy standing next to me most likely bought a license at the same cost I did. Therefor he has the same rights as I do, who am I to judge what he does with his catch? If he has followed all the rules, as I do, and all the things he is doing to catch that fish is within the same regulations I am abiding by, then why do I get a say in what he does with his harvest? Now if they are not following regulations and breaking the laws we have, then yes I will say something to a Wildlife Officer. As long as they are staying within the guidelines the state agency has set for my area, and they have a license I don't care what they do with their catch!

Call Dobyns and see if they have a refurbished fury in the action and power you want. Might get it cheaper and not be out full amount of money if you don't like it!

Definitely frogs for me! I have hit myself in the face multiple times with a darn frog on a hookset!?

I live in Ohio and use 65# braid on my flipping rod and jig rod and 50# on my from rod. My brother lives in the Syracuse area and I know of quite a few places around there where I have fished with him that I wouldn't hesitate fishing the heavy braid due to heavy grass and trees in the water.

Yes they are legit! Small place in Pennsylvania, my buddy bought his kayak there, seem like good people to deal with.
