Unpacked my new Kaden rods this evening after work, I am impressed with the looks and feels of them so far! Can't wait to get some reels on them and the weather to cooperate and test them out.

Group A - John Cox Group B - John Crews Group C - Hunter Shryock Group D - Bernie Schultz Group E - David Fritts Just a shot in the dark for me here. Hunter I picked because he is an Ohio guy and we fished a lot of the same waters growing up. Always like to pull for the hometown guy!!!

I also just use my wife and a pencil as an easy solution to this problem!?

I will attempt to put a picture up tonight of mine when I get home and unpack them!

The Bass Pro Qualifier 2 is a good reel, my brother has three of them and are his favorites. They will be on sale here in another month or so when they have there spring sale most likely. Usually about $50.

The MP feels a little smoother. I haven't fished it much, but the little bit I did get to use it. Wow is all I can say. I will most likely be buying two more for the new rods on the way.

From what I have heard from the owner of my local tackle shop, is everything is going up here real soon in price.

I emailed them after I got off the phone with them and realized no one took an email address to ask them for an order confirmation. They sent me the tracking number of my package. So I would say just email them!

Well I also had the Dobyns bug bite me today! I ordered 3 of them. 714C, 745C, and the 713sf. Can't wait till they show up!

A 745C, 714C, and a 713SF are on their way to my doorstep and yes it was $20 to ship all three! Excited, but then I have to wait on this stupid weather anyways!!

Well I just bit that bullet and ordered three of these rods!! Can't believe I did it but too late now. lol Excited none the less to see them and see what they are like.

My whole rod lineup is Dobyns Fury rods, with Lews reels on them, so I guess you could say I like them. Both companies seem to have great customer service and really stand behind their products. I will buy more products from both companies in a heart beat. St Croix has been around for as many years as they have for a reason, and will continue to stay around. But as someone said above it is all personal preference, you will know the rods you like when you use them. Everything coming from us about the subject is just our opinion from what we have used or handled over the years.

I am with the others here, no need for the tubing, the angle will be just fine. Besides the tubing will add more weight than you think it will.

I think Jacob Wheeler does something, one of the Shryock brothers I think also.

I would definitely not worry about the braid, but the flouro, I don't use it much but would think that wouldn't be the best for it. I may be wrong though

Ouch!! That is the problem with living in the northern part of the country, it gets cold most of us have to do something to scratch the fishing bug. So why not buy more tackle! lol

So sorry to hear this, praying for healing for your family in such a time of loss. He is no longer in pain!
