Best budget fluorocarbon
Yes the Pline fluoroclear is a copolymer, I have not had an issue with it.

lizards
I also have went through that process. I now have it down to the few plastics that I have confidence in. So now I can just focus on those and have given my younger brother and another friend the ones that were just sitting there. So this winter I will be stocking up on the plastics that I have found work best for me.

lizards
Always a bag of lizards in my tackle when fishing, especially in the spring time.

My doctor said....
I don't go to the Dr, so I have self diagnosed myself with that disease. It can be a rough disease especially here in Ohio in the winter!!?

Where are the Ohio Fisherman?
I don't understand why they would be unhappy with it? AEP was auctioning off little parcels here and there already, to private owners, meaning the public could no longer use that area. With the state buying it we can still use it as before. Everything I have read on the situation sounds like Dewine wants to keep it for the same uses as AEP allowed it for. I think some people just like to have something to complain about, I for one am glad the state of Ohio bought it from them. Somewhere down the road I could see them charging for the camping and maybe the permit, but that takes a lot of money for the upkeep of those haul roads, so I wouldn't have a problem with them charging for that stuff. I think that is what got AEP in the long run, all the upkeep of the roads, and they really had no income coming from that land, other than the few gas and oil wells and the leases to farmers in the area. Now I know the state may screw it up in the future but that is a wait and see thing I guess.

Where are the Ohio Fisherman?
Wow if so that is awesome news for outdoorsmen and women of the state of Ohio. AEP was going to start piece selling it more than they already were. That would have meant more out of state people buying it up for hunting leases and no one could have used all that beautiful land down there the way we are able to now.

Where are the Ohio Fisherman?
Is this 31,000 acres more on top of what they purchased earlier in the year? Or is this just saying the state finally came up with the money to purchase it finally? I know they came to an agreement earlier in the year to purchase a bunch and they renamed that section The Jesse Owens Memorial park, but I read after the agreement that the state didn't have the money for it because the people running the wildlife and park services spent the money on things they shouldn't have. If this is another purchase on top of what they already agreed to then the state owns almost all of it now.

Thoughts on wearing a jersey even if you're not in a competition?
To each their own, I don't care what another fisherman or woman is wearing, as long as they are out there representing sportsmen in a positive light.

Those are purty, very nice ties!- Need help
I agree with everyone else, looks like a Bowfin, awesome fight when hooked up with them!- Goals for the winter...
Slap you for even bringing up the thought of that horrible word!!!?- Recommend me spinning reel
I also own this reel, very nice reel also.- Recommend me spinning reel
Pflueger president would be my choice for a cheaper spinning reel, but still a quality and well built reel!- From Younger To Older
- Shimano SLX quality
I have one of the SLX, bought it in the spring used it all summer. Very nice reel, not complaints about it. I went and bought a lews tournament MB a couple months ago because my older Abu was finally dying. I now have 3 MBs at this time. Just something about them for me that I like so much better than the SLX. Most likely just personal preference. Have only held the Tatula at the store. They are all built well from what I can tell, all you can do is go to a store where you can handle all three and see which fits you and your fishing style best.- Cooler Talk!
I am with Bluebasser86, I have the Ozark and it keeps ice for days.- Spinning setup - recommended best uses?
I throw weightless flukes on my Medium Pflueger, and also light Trigs.- Spinning setup - recommended best uses?
I have a Dobyns 702sf I use it for drop shot and Ned rig mostly. The 703 I would think would be good for wacky rigs, tubes, and unweighted texas rig. Just my opinion of what I would use those two for.- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
You may want to hurry on the purchase if you want one, looks to me like they are discontinuing the MB. Replacing it with the new MP they introduced at ICAST this year.- Black Lake NY was a bust
I would say between the tourneys, and the cold front it made the fishing tough. But like you said that is fishing! Look at the bright side of it though, you made memories with your son on a lake you fished as a kid. That is a great day in itself!- Strike King Rage Tail Craw Alternatives
If the claws are being pulled off all the time I would say it may be big bluegill. I have had an issue like that fishing AEP ponds in Southeast Ohio- Can't find Mardi Gras anywhere

I don't see the problem! Just means you don't have to spend money on them this year! - Musky flies during a tornado warning
