Most of mine are on the water. People who don’t get their stuff ready before they block the launch ramp. People who don’t know the rules about towing tubes and warning flags. People who can’t load there boat and get off the ramp out of other’s way.
  2. Before surgery I had carpal tunnel so bad that I had to wear wrist braces and could only fish for a little while then give it a rest. I found out that I could go longer and rest less if I used different hands to cast so I did. However 5 more hand surgeries have put me back to dominant hand casting.
  3. It may reflect the fact that his boat is kept off site in a Marina.

He steps on your foot then step on his he will get the message.
  5. It would be better if they could at least spell chartreuse correctly. It wouldn’t look as sketchy.
  6. It has changed ownership. LPO didn’t take care of it. They sold it. The new owner has cleaned it up and he is running it similar to the way David did when he owned it. Give it a look.
  7. Two things we say around here: Boat= Bring On Another Thousand Boat= A hole in the water that you pour money into. I don’t know what it costs. I just pony up when I get the bill. I do know that I will be spending close to $3,000 on the trailer this month. If I knew I might go back to golf, not.
  8. No pork chops for me. I once ran 25,000 free range turkeys. My father in law had hogs in the adjacent field. Guess what I did with the dead turkeys.
  9. I agree that a broken rod for me is just 2 pieces of what used to be. That’s why some good companies have the “don’t ask don’t tell “ warranty for a nominal fee like Gloomis and others have a lifetime warranty like Fenwick HMGs.
  10. It is a guess. I know nothing about a Vexus. I fished several years out of an Xpress owned by a 6’3” 270# buddy. When he moved the boat really moved with him.
  11. I think the Xpress would be tippy with a guy your size moving around in it. So I vote for the Vexus.
  12. I have had 2 NOCOs go bad in my boat. They quit bringing the batteries to full charge which ruined them. My electronics tech said they are seeing several NOCO issues. I switched to the new Minn Kota so far it is doing a great job. One of my regular fishing buddies has a MK in his boat that’s 14 years old and going strong.
  13. If it has a transducer on it heat can destroy it. As for the tm itself I don’t know. Call M K customer service and ask them.
  14. I used to buy them until I got tired of paying $3 and losing 4-6 per trip. I still buy their skirts in some colors but mostly I just come up with something close that works and even buying a $.79 skirt I don’t have much over a dollar in them.
  15. There isn’t much difference. My 3/16 is a 1/4 football with the keeper cut off because I use a little nasty 2/0 hook and the keeper takes up too much of the hook. That jig in the pic is my version of the Jewell Pee Wee in basswhacker.
  16. Finesse to me is 3/16 and under. I can use light weight setups for them. 5/16 and heavier get my regular jig setups.
  17. I use 10, 12 and 15# on bait casters. I’ve never had any thing bigger than 8# that would work on a spinning reel.
  18. I’ve been ordering from them for years. I just ordered 200 Dalmation tabs this morning.

  20. Have you looked into the startup cost of pouring jigs? It can quickly run into the $100s with everything one needs.
  21. Around here they use night crawlers.
  22. Looks like you are on your way. Good deal.
  23. Check your pm.
  24. So why did you post?
