  1. Be sure to trim the motor down to keep rain water from getting into the housing freezing and busting it. Or cover it good to keep water out.
  2. BPS has already thrown our guys in with everyone else in the National Fishing Hall of Fame in the Museum at the main store in Springfield MO.
  3. Why would you want to take it off the hook in the first place? I’m sure that I have at least 1/2 dozen Elaztech baits rigged on setups in the boat right now ready for duty on Friday.
  4. It depends on what they will do for that $100. The minimum is change the lower unit fluid as well as the washers behind the screws. Some fog the engine. Where I live we fish year round so mine doesn’t have to be winterized. I used to do my own service work until I bought a 4 stroke. No I hire it done. How will the motor be stored?
  5. I use an image size app. I choose 640x640 for this site.
  6. Here is my version of a parasite clip. I use 20 ga galvanized steel wire. The bait stays in place when you set the hook.
  7. That’s one technique that has never worked for me. I have tried it on several different lakes in different seasons. I have completed quit trying it.
  8. Check on the legality of it before you do it.
  9. Parasite clips work great. If you want to you can make your own. It’s pretty easy to do.
  10. This is a pic from the guy who says he invented the puff ball jig. He says he is making a step by step video of his process. If he does I will let you know.
  11. You don’t have to wait for winter to use living rubber jigs. BTW.. nice looking jig.
  12. I’m pretty sure it is in the manual that comes with the motors.
  13. I am a Shimano fan boy. I have a bunch of Stradic and Symmetry reels from 1000 to 3000. Some are 25 years old and still going strong.
  14. Jewel Pee Wee. I carry 4 colors in 3 sizes.
  15. When I switched from Lowrance to Humminbird I found it easy to do. Here is a video explaining how.
  16. If you are running Minn Kotas you might want to read what they have to say about full power extended running.
  17. What do you do and what is your logic concerning it? Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t.
  18. If that is happening often, you might check with law enforcement. In lots of places it is illegal to harass a fisherman or hunter.
  19. From the bank I would be using jigs, tubes, Ned rigs, and Arigs.
  20. I’ll tell you why I switched. The first time I fished with someone who was using fluorocarbon he caught 7 bass out of the back of my boat before my monofilament and I caught 1. I bought some and that evened things up. Now it is on most of my bait caster setups.
  21. I’m using the Dirty Jigs guppy head in 1/8 and 3/16.
  22. I’m in the fluorocarbon group. I only use straight braid (50#) for top water where stripers are present and for Arigs. I also use 8/1 for crappie in the fall and early winter. I always use fluorocarbon for jigs, shaky, and Ned.

If they did that at certain places around here someone would open a can of whop ass.
