  1. I am a Shimano fan boy. I have a bunch of Stradic and Symmetry reels from 1000 to 3000. Some are 25 years old and still going strong.
  2. Jewel Pee Wee. I carry 4 colors in 3 sizes.
  3. When I switched from Lowrance to Humminbird I found it easy to do. Here is a video explaining how.
  4. If you are running Minn Kotas you might want to read what they have to say about full power extended running.
  5. What do you do and what is your logic concerning it? Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t.
  6. If that is happening often, you might check with law enforcement. In lots of places it is illegal to harass a fisherman or hunter.
  7. From the bank I would be using jigs, tubes, Ned rigs, and Arigs.
  8. I’ll tell you why I switched. The first time I fished with someone who was using fluorocarbon he caught 7 bass out of the back of my boat before my monofilament and I caught 1. I bought some and that evened things up. Now it is on most of my bait caster setups.
  9. I’m using the Dirty Jigs guppy head in 1/8 and 3/16.
  10. I’m in the fluorocarbon group. I only use straight braid (50#) for top water where stripers are present and for Arigs. I also use 8/1 for crappie in the fall and early winter. I always use fluorocarbon for jigs, shaky, and Ned.

If they did that at certain places around here someone would open a can of whop ass.

Most of mine are on the water. People who don’t get their stuff ready before they block the launch ramp. People who don’t know the rules about towing tubes and warning flags. People who can’t load there boat and get off the ramp out of other’s way.
  13. Before surgery I had carpal tunnel so bad that I had to wear wrist braces and could only fish for a little while then give it a rest. I found out that I could go longer and rest less if I used different hands to cast so I did. However 5 more hand surgeries have put me back to dominant hand casting.
  14. It may reflect the fact that his boat is kept off site in a Marina.

He steps on your foot then step on his he will get the message.
  16. It would be better if they could at least spell chartreuse correctly. It wouldn’t look as sketchy.
  17. It has changed ownership. LPO didn’t take care of it. They sold it. The new owner has cleaned it up and he is running it similar to the way David did when he owned it. Give it a look.
  18. Two things we say around here: Boat= Bring On Another Thousand Boat= A hole in the water that you pour money into. I don’t know what it costs. I just pony up when I get the bill. I do know that I will be spending close to $3,000 on the trailer this month. If I knew I might go back to golf, not.
  19. No pork chops for me. I once ran 25,000 free range turkeys. My father in law had hogs in the adjacent field. Guess what I did with the dead turkeys.
  20. I agree that a broken rod for me is just 2 pieces of what used to be. That’s why some good companies have the “don’t ask don’t tell “ warranty for a nominal fee like Gloomis and others have a lifetime warranty like Fenwick HMGs.
  21. It is a guess. I know nothing about a Vexus. I fished several years out of an Xpress owned by a 6’3” 270# buddy. When he moved the boat really moved with him.
  22. I think the Xpress would be tippy with a guy your size moving around in it. So I vote for the Vexus.
