  1. They weigh close to the same with the ulterra 10-15# heavier.
  2. I’d take a spot lock trolling motor over half a dozen power poles.
  3. I use the Gamakatsu hooks for swim bait heads and Neds.
  4. Find someone else. My neighbor and I fished together for the first couple of years after they moved in. Then when I asked him he had a viable excuse. I asked him again and he had a lame excuse. He didn’t get a third invite.
  5. With all of the hook companies and the variety of products I’m not sure you could get a complete list plus the number of jig makers on her probably isn’t going to be very large. Small Jaw, Cadman and Mike Seibert would be my people on here if I had hook questions. They have always stepped up and helped.
  6. I didn’t get a pic of fish that day. It was the 30th of December and all of our fish came on the Ned rig.
  7. This isn’t the first one but is one of the 8 smallmouth that I caught today.
  8. I looked at Pros Choice (largest Nitro dealer) web site. They normally beat everyone else. Rangers are still listing at $99,000.
  9. Sounds like you guys need to form some groups like AA. You could call it BJA (Bait Junkies Anonymous).🤑
  10. I haven’t used Shin’s knot but I have used many knots and the fg is the only one that hasn’t broken at the knot.
  11. None of that is happening here. Car lots have trucks and very few cars. Most around here thought there would be a glut of used campers and boats after Covid settled down. It hasn’t happened. I have never seen cars, boats or houses go down in price.
  12. It hasn’t begun around here yet.
  13. I have a rod similar to that which was made by the original Ark Rod folks. I have a 5:1 Curado on it and use it solely for Arigs.
  14. I keep them in the cups in a closet in the garage. Some have been in the cups for over 10 years.
  15. Crank baits almost never.
  16. Surprise bait was Keitech swing impact fat. Regular was jigs and Elaztech worms.
  17. I have that same bag. I use it when I go in a friend’s boat. It holds a ton of stuff.
  18. It depends on the bait that I have tied on and the depth. If it’s a hangumup bait it stays outside. If it’s a jig or worm I throw it where you wouldn’t send your bird dog.
  19. I count how long each jig is over the heat gun. Different sizes require different times.
  20. Hey. I hope it works for you. I’ve been powder painting for over 20 years and have tried a lot of different techniques for heating. For a while I even heated them in the toaster oven but could only paint a few before they cooled. Right now my heat gun is doing fine.
  21. What regions are having the red lips. I don’t ever remember seeing that here in Missouri or Northern Arkansas?
  22. I’m using a Pee Wee jig that has similar configuration. A Yamamoto 4 inch twin tail and very small beaver are what’s working best for me.
  23. I’d think covering with epoxy then sprinkle on the glitter while wet. Then maybe a coat of Sally Hansen’s hard as nails.
  24. I recommend a custom. That way you can have it built to your exact specifications.
