  1. I have all of my drags set light. I want them to slip a little on the hook set so I don’t break any line or rip a fish’s mouth. I use light line most of the time.
  2. If you put a screen protector on them you can clean them with anything. https://www.russellmarineproducts.com/russell-marine-products/screen-protector
  3. I went through my stuff last winter and donated a bunch to a local high school fishing team. I still have a couple of lifetime supplies not counting the 5 dozen pacs of ZinkerZs that I got last week.
  4. God made mechanics so I wouldn’t have to do that kind of thing. I don’t even raise the hood on my truck though I am sure there is a motor in there somewhere.
  5. I don’t usually have any. I take 32 oz of ice water in a Yeti cup. I don’t eat while on the water.
  6. I worm fish most every trip. I’ve used rods of all lengths and ratings along with various speed reels. I’ve settled on 7 1/2’ rods with 8 speed reels and 12# fluorocarbon line.
  7. I find spinning setups superior to bait casters when vertical fishing with the exception of a jigging spoon. It just takes too long to get a bait down 30-60’ on a bait caster.
  8. Trolling motors are the number one cause of electronics interference.
  9. A corner food plot wouldn’t hurt anything.
  10. It looks like interference. How is it powered?
  11. You don’t have to get to the trim motor to replace the relays.
  12. Have you tried a Toyko rig with mono on the dropper?
  13. 100 miles round trip gas $3.89 14 mpg $28 staying within 10 miles of the ramp and running under 50 mph gas and additives 5 gallons at $5.00 $25 So for me $50 and up.
  14. I would try adjusting up and down to find the sweet spot. The higher I got mine the faster it would run but I had to quit because it was so high it wouldn’t go in the garage.
  15. Motor 3” below the bottom of the boat does not compute. What is your ptp (prop to pad)? When I got my boat the motor was too low. I raised it up and got 10 more mph. My ptp is 3 1/2 “.
  16. What has changed? Is your gas fresh? Have you hit anything? Do you have water in the bilge? Have your rpms dropped?
  17. It works great. I have it in 10, 12, 15 and 20 # test. I have it on at least 10 setups. I’ve used several but now I have Seaguar red because I got a deal on a bunch so I bought the guy out. I find it to be as good as most that I have tried.
  18. X2. I hold the spool and use the boat’s trolling motor to break the line.
  19. I used to do the braid to fluorocarbon leader. I tried lots of connecting knots. I learned to hate it so I quit and went to straight fluorocarbon for some setups, straight braid for others, and Yozuri hybrid for Neds. That has simplified my life.
  20. Don’t know. Have you tried another card slot?
  21. What I saw wasn’t Ned.
  22. I use Elaztech for shaky. Lately green pumpkin, watermelon red, watermelon candy, purple haze, California craw, dirt, and junebug have been pretty good for me, but Alabama craw has been the best.
  23. Have you tried bending the blade tip for more vibration.
  24. My uncle was a big eater of things growing wild, all kinds of plants and fungi. He was sure that he knew all of the varieties that grow around here. I guess he didn’t. He wound up in the hospital and nearly died from eating the wrong kind.
