  1. Only those of my own making. I’ve had mine 3 years. I try to fish at least 2 times per week. A couple of times it came unpaired with the remote but that is an easy fix.
  2. Swiss Army Knife and Uncle Henry’s Stockman are with me any time I have pants with pockets.
  3. I’d start by killing all the grass in the area where the garden will be located. Then I’d get compost and cover the area with at least 4 inches of it. Keep the grass and weeds out until next spring then till the ground to get it ready to plant.
  4. Unless he knows what he is doing, take it to a shop.
  5. I fish worms year around. I throw Elaztech 5” worms on a shaky weedless 2/0 VMC EWG hook with a Midwest finesse head.
  6. If your lighter fluid doesn’t contain naptha you might be better served with acetone. Changing to a different blade configuration might help.
  7. Those break offs are what made me switch to fluorocarbon and quit using braid for bottom contact techniques. Buy some Yozuri hybrid line and put the braid away for a while.
  8. I completely disagree. I’m not anti gun but I have close relatives in law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day.
  9. Mine are set on 1. I took them out today with a 1/2 oz casting plug. It took a little spool knob tightening but in a few minutes they were flawless. I tied on 1/2 oz War Eagle spinnerbaits and will use them in the morning.
  10. I’ve been there. It’s really different from his other stores. If you plan to stay the night bring plenty of cash.
  11. Where I fish, football is my choice for bottom jigs.
  12. Until you have some casting skill the best advice you will get is what Toxic has given you. Buy a 1/2 oz casting plug then go to a quiet open space like your back yard or a church parking lot and make a few hundred casts, repeat as necessary.
  13. The best advice I can give you is when you get set up, take someone with you and go to an isolated place and practice loading and unloading until you know what to expect. It also sounds like you need to have an experienced operator along to help you get used to the boat. Most every boat has a sweet spot where it loads best. Pay attention and learn your trailer depth that maximizes loading. My wife just added, “That’s a big deal right there”. When she goes with me she launches and loads the boat while I do the truck and trailer.
  14. Put it where you think it will work best. Your loading ability will determine how much room you need.
  15. We had 33 bass today. 25 of them were caught on Elaztech baits (TRDs and Zeros). Most were on Zeros. We didn’t bother with any other plastics.
  16. Elaztech worms and TRDs are all I need. I rig them from open hook to Tex skin depending on where I am fishing, using the lightest head possible. I use rods from ml to mh depending upon the situation.
  17. I believe that gallery noise got going with Tiger Woods. He seemed to encourage it.
  18. I believe it would be their Mid Atlantic card if they have anything. Your best bet is call HB customer support and ask them.
  19. One on my Curado DCs was doing that last time out. It was at the end of the cast with a buzz bait. I had to start thumbing it. That has never happened before.
  20. Sometimes I take a short piece of wire and wrap thread to hold it on the hook then glue it. Sometimes I use heat shrink tubing.
  21. I take my water in a large Yetti cup. I rarely eat while fishing so I don’t have trash. Once in a while I have an empty super glue bottle. I put it in the truck for disposal when I leave the lake.
  22. It probably is some of both. My regular fishing partner gut hooks several times and we are using the same line, jigs, and baits. I’ve noticed that he fishes a lot with his reel while I fish with my rod. Other than that my equipment is superior to his. I think I can feel way better than he can.
  23. Boga grip
  24. The first thing I do is cover them with shrink tubing from the Mud Hole. Then I don’t have anything to worry about.
