  1. I got mine at Walmart.
  2. AJ and Tom have offered sound advice. A 24 will give you more power with less amps drawn and less heat generated. It should have more than double the run time of a 12v.
  3. Brunswick is supposed to be getting into lithiums. I don’t have any particulars on that but if American made I might consider a switch as I have 6 31s in the boat.
  4. There are exceptions to that. There are dealerships which handle Tracker Marine products and are not part of the White River conglomerate.
  5. I may take a look at lithiums when they don’t come from China.
  6. Look out. I can see 10,000 home made baits in your future. It will be jigs. You will need at least 10 different molds. Then spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. Next you will want custom plastics and a whole new world awaits you. There is no end. WELCOM ABOARD. I’ve been doing it a long time and just keep adding to me stash.
  7. I carry 13 bc setups. Almost every one is technique specific. Four of them are noncurrent Gloomis rods and I’d hate to be without any of them. The one that would break my heart is a custom shaky rod that I had built last year.
  8. I am running 2 Humminbird units on an agm battery. In two years they have killed them grave yard dead. I have recently switched brands.
  9. VMC. He sent me some to try out. They’re pretty good. I’m using the new Victory hook. It’s also pretty good.
  10. The brand of boat makes a difference. My old Champion 206 would overflow if I closed the live well and kept the aerator on. My Nitro Z20 doesn’t.
  11. I make my own so I have lots of options.
  12. Pretty much.
  13. My garage is 1100 sq ft with a truck and car bay on one side and a boat bay on the other. Between the boat bay and truck I have a work area where I pour all my baits both lead and plastic. The most important thing with lead is to not eat or smoke while pouring it and wash your hands when finished.
  14. For the regular one I like a 1/0 Gammy. However, I recently bought the new mold that fits the Victory ewg hook and rigs up like a Trig. I am really liking it because it comes through all the rocks and limbs here on Table Rock. https://store.do-itmolds.com/weedless-midwest-finesse-jig
  15. I was planning my first night trip buy the windy rainy weather is keeping me home.
  16. It has been interesting to see what different ones of you call trash fish. Being in the middle of the country a lot of what some of you mentioned are completely foreign to me and I have no idea what they are.
  17. Not on purpose.
  18. Our local TV stations have weather aps that show daily, hour by hour, and radar. I have them on my phone, Ipad, and lap top. I use them before every trip to help me decide whether to go south to Table Rock or north to Stockton.
  19. They don’t move easily so you will need a strong trolling motor.
  20. I’ve never heard of a boat dealer offering a warranty other than selling the buyer a third party warranty. What part of the country are these dealers in?
  21. I wish I had that kind of action. I just have green and brown fish.
  22. I have a spot picked out in the yard next door that is about 30 yds farther than a cast. I tie the line on and walk to the spot unrolling the line. I cut the line go back pick up my reel and wind it up.
  23. Heat shrink tubing, put it on and forget it.
  24. I don’t thread them up to the keeper.
  25. I use what ever Bass Pro sells. The way my rod locker is designed I have to have them to protect the line guides.
