I buy what Bass Pro sells during the Spring Classic. I buy at least 10 at a time. They are pvc mostly what ever the brand.

That depends on what kind of boat. I haven’t seen a glitter sled long enough for three people unless two of them stand side by side. Semi v boats are a different matter.

I paid $600 for an aqua view. I couldn’t use it for the sun. I gave it to my daughter so they can look at stuff under their dock.

What tournament circuit will you be fishing? Time of year and part of the lake would make equipment and bait choices for me. I once ran from the dam to Bee Creek to find fish. I believe that is over 60 miles each way.

I have made lots of open pour molds using Bondo fiberglass resin. My first one was a split tail trailer. I use double sided Scotch tape and a plastic box that has a flat inside. I cover the inside floor with the tape and stick the baits down. I mix up the Bondo and pour it over the baits. Be sure to spray the baits with oil before pouring the bondo.

All I can say is I prefer the ones who got in over the ones who got beat. I have 2 favs left. I may not be as lucky with them but I sure hope my Chiefs get it done today.

Most put the si on the stern. Personally I like it both places.

I have 2 4 series in different lengths and 2 3 series. I don’t like the 4 for 3/8 baits. I only use them for 1/2 and heavier.

I have 3 Humminbird Solix models because they network with my Minn Kota trolling motor. I have a 10 built in the dash and a 10 and 12 on the bow. The 10 has been used for mapping and the 12 for 2d sonar. I just got Mega Live and am using the 12 for it and the 10 for 2d. I’m seriously considering adding another 10 so I can have mapping, Mega Live and 2d without split screens.

Some good gloves, a nor pour silicone cup or pyrex cup, a cheap microwave, and a mold will get you started. My first pours were an open mold, one of my wife’s pans on our kitchen stove. That was a very bad idea.

I don’t throw big swim baits but I do Arigs. I use three baits and several blades. I’ve tried a few reels and have settled on 5-1 ratios. The faster gears are harder to to crank and wear me slick in a few hours. The rods that I have are 7-7.5’ with lots of backbone.

We are allowed 3 hooks. I make my own as well as the baits. I use 1/16 or 1/8 oz head with 4/0 hooks. 4 inch swimbaits or 5 in flukes are my go to plastics.

For me it was to clear the drive so I could get the boat out. That was before I got my snow blower.

It was on my lake on one of my spots in my boat fishing my technique and I was in the front. It happened on two consecutive trips. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but the third trip things changed as I was then equipped with fluorocarbon. That’s proof enough for me.

The first time I fished against fluorocarbon with mono it was 7 to 0 not in my favor. I now have fluorocarbon on 16 setups and mono on 2.

67 mph with a 400 would not be wide open. A properly setup 250 would do that or close.
