For those that fish everyday...How happy are you? :)
From a retirement perspective, fishing every day or even every other day is actually a grind. Batteries need recharged, cooler repacked, leaders retied, on the road again. Can't speak for everyone but I find fishing for 5 - 6 hrs very fatiguing, especially in the hot sun. 2 - 3 days per week feels like harmony and preferably not back to back but the weather and lunar phase dictates a lot as well.

New (To Me) 14’ Tracker
I vote lithium as you could darn near throw it in your pocket and carry into your apartment. I run my bow mounted FF all day on a 10ah lifepo4. Bow mount makes the most sense as that's where you'll spend most of the day. Imo

Mowing...hate it or love it
Lol, I have a buddy of mine that won't let you walk on his lawn after he mows, claims footprints show up, not kidding. I encourage foot travel in my yard, horses welcome to. Lol

Pelican with a limp
I see the logic there, that way it won't pull. ?

gun laws 9mm, clips, ect.
Well as an avid gun owner, I've heard all this before. Every time a psycho goes on a rampage......guns fault. No, I'm not worried.

What lures do you always start with/go
WP / buzzbaits in the morning during warmer months.

What’s night fishing like?
I got pinched in the back of the neck by one of these critters late at night...... give me daylight.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
After the bait was casted, I let it sit until the water became calm. Once I started reeling, the fish hit it almost immediately......no wind this morning.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
WP 75 has been the deal in the morning. Caught 9 and every single one was after the bait sat after the cast until the water calmed.

Baseball CWS
It's whoever has momentum down the stretch. Tennessee could beat ND 9 out of 10 but the loss was just bad timing. Imo

Fishing. No coffee in the morning.
I never drank a cup of coffee until I retired over 2 years ago. The brewing aroma is nice in the morning but definitely not an addiction. If I remember, I'll have coffee before before I go fishing in the morning.

Spooling What NOT To Do
I simply use a particular line for backing that I wouldn't consider using as a finished product....... Berkeley Vanish. Yes, I back All my casting reels with it.

Separate battery or not for Garmin
Lifepo4 batteries have dropped in price, the size of a brick and the weight of a shoe to run your FF. I can go 2 trips on a 10 ah lithium before a charge is necessary. Have to admit though, went straight to a separate battery because of the interference issues I've heard others claim but didn't take the time to experience it myself.

Wacky Worm Set Up
When I throw weightless wacky, it's always on a VMC #2 weedless Neko hook. Also throw wacky on a 1/16 wacky jig, wide gap but usually with finesse worms. I prefer spinning tackle for wacky rig because it's a bait that skips so well and I can't skip with casting.

Backup lures
Every bait that I have confidence in and has been effective, I'm beyond a back up. Own dozens of Spinnerbaits, Jigs and jerkbaits. If you're talking about a particular bait from a particular manufacturer then I may only have one single bait, especially crankbaits.

Pelican with a limp
Something else came to mind. These boats have an upper and a lower section that are screwed together. Wonder if you could disassemble and push the dent out ? It actually appears to be a straight forward job other than the floation materials used in the pontoons.

Pelican with a limp
Run a screw in it and pull it out, then a patch if you simply can't live with it.

Ya gotta love a long shot...
We the people appeared to lead 90 % of race and faded late, jockey seemed like a wax figure. Idk

Straying from the norm ???
Yes, accurate observation, the lakes I fish are gin clear. If the wind isn't blowing, I actually have eye contact with the bait all the way back to the boat...... when the bait disappears, set the hook. Lol Swim Jigs are all over the water column but on a continuous slow retrieve, running into stuff and most importantly, into fishes mouths.
