I'm also 59 and had very similar symptoms. Simple hamstring stretches helped a bunch, do them every morning. Another herbal remedy which was surprisingly helpful was Turmeric and fish oil, try it. Hope the discomfort eases up for ya'.
  2. Boat loaded and headed out in the morning......ahh, gonna start out with Jerkbaits I think.
  3. Just think, with all the lakes closing the fish will have lost all memory and will hit anything.....even on straight braid. Lol
  4. That Tungsten weight I was referring is pushed into the nose of Senko so it sinks faster like a bullet weight for T-rig. It's being presented faster so more coverage.....I also use it in moving water for SM. It's also used for Neko rig with a different hook configuration.
  5. Hmmm, why do I feel intellectually inspired after reading this? Are chickens actually chickens? Be honest.
  6. Very well said my friend. AND hoping this thread doesn't turn into toilet paper.
  7. I live on the river with 120,000 acres of National forest behind the house but I simply don't worry.....everything is open here. Why ? What's going on ?
  8. Got first hand confirmation by phone here in VA that all State parks and lakes would remain open to the public. Closing a lake doesn't seem reasonable as fishing in a boat wouldn't be considerd congregation in my mind. I'm just looking for congregated bass. Lol

I adore every dog, animals in general. Growing up, our house was like a zoo from Aquariums, birds, cats, ferrets and dogs. I've had several Border collies, super dogs. Never had an outside dog though. Dogs and cats are piled up in the bed with the wife and I every evening, we love it , they are family. Our family does a lot of bird hunting , mainly pheasant and quail and I'm always amazed how effective and efficient a good bird is, amazing. Must admit, loosing a dog in this family is absolutely devastating and tough to recover from, required days off from work. Dogs are the best.

Here in VA or at least the area I live in, everyone is busy. Very minor shut downs, mainly schools. All state parks and fisheries confirmed by phone yesterday, operating as usual. All local businesses still up and running. Yes, everyone is washing their hands. I'm very optimistic that the economy will be trending upward by early summer in every region. Hang in there.
  11. I also throw 5" 99% of the time. Wacky around docks. Weightless t-rig in heavy cover Tungsten weight 1/16--1/8 in head when trying to locate them covering water. Senko is a versatile bait....good luck.
  12. That sounds like good news. When I retired all I wanted was a little supplemental work for gas money. A kitchen remodel here, a siding job there turned into 40 hours a week so I simply quit and don't return calls. Fulltime fisherman.
  13. Well he certainly doesn't have the arm of Winston but more accurate. Could a 43 yr old Brady put the Bucs over the top ? Interesting indeed.
  14. Just got informed today that all State parks in Va and it's fisheries will remain open. I had to ask but NO they would not except TP as currency.
  15. I've been a Dolphin fan since the Csonka, Warfield, Griese days so my feelings for Brady quickly end after Respect. Lol Also man enough to say....he is the GOAT. Be interesting to see if Belichick can make the playoffs now even with the Bills winning the division......yeah I said that.
  16. All my tongue hooked bass show up later on the surface, never immediately.......it always bothers me though.
  17. I don't target pickerel but this one particular lake I fish a few times a year has plenty of them and while bass fishing catch them with regularity on Flukes and Jerkbaits. They are beautiful fish.
  18. We can use baitmait as hand sanitizer after fondling all the tackle. Oh, will there be toilet paper ?
  19. Shutting everything down is simply due to lack of understanding, lack of preparation and logic working in simple form.....limit congregation, limit exposure. To many other issues will arise keeping this game plan long term. What I don't particularly care to see or hear is panic as it does absolutely nothing but spawn more panic.
  20. Amazing. Warden lake is 45 minutes from my residence and have fished it, low on my list as a bass fishery.
  21. I've noticed a sudden spike in the local logging business.......hearing TP has a priority over test kits.
  22. I've heard the expression " ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law" and such was the case. I live in VA and have several lakes in WV that I've fished via a 3 day permit many times in the past. Since retiring late 2019 and about the time my VA fishing license was expiring, bought both VA and WV state license at same time as this gives me more options. Soooooo I get checked recently by 2 wardens at a WV lake that I know well. With confidence I hand over my license and then the shocking question " sir can we see a valid license? ". WHAT ? In VA your licence runs 1 year of purchase date. In WV regardless of purchase date, license expires Dec 31. Warden saw where I purchased both licenses same date and let me go. This had the potential to be a $5000 fine. I now have a valid WV license and will be updating it when the ball drops in NY.
  23. Yeah, I've never paid close to $10 for a spinnerbait, just want blades that spin. Best bang for me, Terminator. Bill Dance stuff, Booyah......you gotta have a spinnerbait tied on.
  24. Call me immature at 59 but still chuckling over this TP thing, all day. NIKE , JUST DO IT.....even without TP.
  25. I'm laughing but not quite grasping the sudden shortage of TP......someone enlighten me. Why is this simple product in such demand ? Or is it a joke that simply slipped me ?
