  1. I have a very impulsive mind. If I get it in my head I want something I will get it. Fortunately the counter to that is I'm a cheapskate so I rarely go over 200 bucks for anything rod or reel.
  2. If I were to count on one hand how many fish I've caught on a red bait I could still count to 5 with it. Red doesn't work for me. Pink, white, chartreuse? All day long but for some reason red is my kryptonite color. I try it all the time but i get discouraged quickly and switch back to white usually.
  3. Gonna leave the house here around 8 after I get my crap packed. Gonna swing by my dad's house up in KY after I finish there today. Should be fun. I still think Fisher is gonna take it but something is telling me that Dylan Nutt kid is gonna be a sleeper.
  4. 90% of the time I start with a fluke of some type. I guess that would depend on how I rig it? Most of the time it will be weightless.
  5. Redwine caught a 10 pounder in practice. I'll be there on saturday.
  6. Great tune. Really liked it.
  7. A swim jig is the 4x4 of the tackle world. Can be used for darn near everything. The real magic comes from three things. A swim jig can be fished high/ low/ middle of the water column with ease. It can be fished fast slow medium or dead sticked. It can be fished like a traditional jig, swam, vertical jigged anything. A swim jig can be used with literally any soft plastic trailer to suit your needs. From paddletails to craws and worms the right trailer can produce anytime, anywhere. Colors. There is a trailer and jig in every color known to man and and the possibilities of color combo are endless.
  8. I drive to another state to fish, technically. I live on the NC/SC border and I drive from NC down to Lake Hartwell to fish. 57 miles about 1. 3 hours one way.
  9. This is a custom glide I bought that was custom painted to resemble a translucent lake hartwell blue back herring. Cost? 75.00(i went back and checked. It was 75 not 100)
  10. Got my 6th sense Jigsaws in the mail yesterday. They even threw in a free pack of 4 inch Ozzies! Can't wait to get on the water to try them out!
  11. And here I thought I was some kind of genius rigging crankbaits and jerkbaits on a carolina rig. Been doing it for years and here I thought it was my secret sauce. 😂
  12. Looks alot like my first boat. I had a 14 foot sears V hull aluminum boat but mine had 1959 35HP Johnson Sea horse on it.
  13. That's why them little jokers are so fast. Spotted bass swim like a lightning bolt.
  14. They're starting to fatten up! Went out on Hartwell yesterday and caught a handful of little fatties. This one actually broke my spinning rod when I boat flipped it. lol I forgot I was using a fairy wand.
  15. As a die hard Abu guy I will purchase one whether I want to or not. 😂 I don't have a say in the matter!
  16. 3/8 oz. Z dude Mini max bladed jig.😁

My first handgun was a USP ss. Sold it to a pawnshop when I went on deployment way back when. Biggest mistake I ever made gunwise. Now I just have a safe full of glocks.
  18. Could be a flash minnow but they are for tuna. Thats about the only jerkbait they make that size. The pointer is their premier bass jerkbait and it's a 110. Could be an older discontinued model since you said they are 10 years old.
  19. Welcome from Western North Kakalaki!
  20. I fish Lake Hartwell. 56,000 acres and 962 miles of shoreline. Funny part is, I seldom go more than 2 or 3 miles from the launch. Just because a lake is big doesn't mean it has to fish big. You can section off a part of it and still achieve your goal. Years of fishing it have gave me the knowledge of what creeks produce according to my style of fishing and it is slap full of angry spotted bass so I have fun no matter what.

The Bubba lite I use is water resistant and costs about 50 bucks. I don't know your budget but for the money it's a pretty good value. Connects to your phone and tracks your fish through the Bubba app and even has a facebook like social media page attached to the app where you can share your catches.
  22. I have about 30 RC3s and 4s. I am collecting them for a wall deco idea I have that I'll put together... one day... 🙄😂
  23. Let us know how those evo mini maxs work. I've been thinking about picking some up the next time I replenish my mini max stock.
  24. I fish a fluke, Ned rig, and a spy bait almost exclusively so technically you could classify my whole boat's worth of tackle as lures I probably shouldn't have. lol
