To each their own I suppose. Being disabled any time I can get to fish anywhere is a blessing for me. I spent 4 years in a wheelchair and fishing wasn't really an option for me. After that you learn to appreciate the smallest of things alot more than you used to.

Morakniv is just about the best knife for the money on the market. I have a literal drawer full of them. My son keeps stealing them when he goes hunting and I'm suire if I went through his car i would find half a dozen more.

I catch a pile of fish on bladed jigs but there is only two colors that work for me. White(or some kind of variation) and Black/Blue. I can't seem to get bit on any other color but I can take those two colors and catch them in almost any condition.

I went fishing yesterday. Caught nothing but 13 inch spotted bass or smaller. I did not get frustrated, I was actually very thankful for the trip because i had picked up a few packs of Crush City's Mayor swimbaits and I wanted to try them. Now I have determined that they might be my FAVORITE soft swimbait out! I put the 3 inch on a 1/4 ounce swimbait head and even though they were small fish were almost jumping in the boat to get at that Mayor. I try to at least learn something each trip out, especially if I'm not having much luck! I can be mad at home if I want. When I'm on the water it is MY time and I choose to spend it happy rather than angry, worried, perturbed, upset, ETC. ETC.

Shoot! I would travel to ANY lake to fun fish! Give me a rod and I'll fish out of a mud puddle.😂

Looks to me like they would be great anywhere a shad rap would be. I figure those run pretty much like a flatsided crankbait?

I love my boat but more and more here lately I am getting the urge to put my titan 13.5 in the water. She is a great platform for backwater fishing and to be honest I miss it sometimes.

I don't scuff them but I do spray a couple squirts of my preferred scent in the bag with them. The longer they sit in there, the more softer and pliable they become. I do use more baits that way but I swear the fish hold on longer on a soaked bait than they do one straight out of the bag.

I use grubs for saltwater all the time for redfish.

I use 8 pound flouro straight with no leader. Yes on a spinning rod. any finesse technique that uses less than 10 pound test I use a full spool of flouro with no leaders. Been doing it that way for years.

I personally have 3 boats that I use. 2006 Stratos 486SF(My retirement present from the wife) Native Titan Propel 13.5 kayak for lakes and kayak tourneys. Jackson Kayak Bite angler Gen 1 for rivers(That's the wife on her Ascend 10T we're on the French Broad kayaking through Asheville.)

I was at Anglers choice for their open house a few weeks back and I just bought a new Minn Kota motor. The guy working the table said he's worked for them for 20 years and before he got promoted to rep he built motors for them. I asked him what the best model(not the most expensive) Minn Kota made was and he told me for the money the Terrova is the best you can get. The design and electronics are alot higher quality than the price suggests.

It's a 20 dollar Shakespeare Excursion. This is the same rod I use for crappie fishing. It's actually a pretty decent rod for 20 bucks. I don't know about winning 100 thousand bucks good but evidently On'em believes it is.
