  1. Depending on ned head weight and line I am using. but lets say 15 yards?
  2. guys I changed it again, this one looks bette.
  3. I got two of them ($39 each), I bought them because I start float tubing and I dont want to send my conquests down the lake LOL. They are very nice for the price, I spooled one of them with 6lb and another one 8lb. Buy it, the worth the $40 for rod and reel combo. I agree, you can use them till they are damage and replace them. Also the reels are heavy.
  4. If I pitch and underhand cast, I love the 6'10", But if normal cast I want to use my 7'.
  5. hello and welcome to bassresource.
  6. yes they are, I was lucky to find two GLX version and I bought one of them, there is another website have another one but I dont like to buy from them LOL.
  7. sounds like you need another spinning rod, 7'6" M for long cast for smallies in open and mostly clear water. and another 7' or 6'10" for pitching as well. so which one you have already? buy your next spinning.(thats what I would do).
  8. what kind of fishing is more common in your area and you doing it? finesse or power fishing? do you have boat or you are bank fisherman?
  9. Guys I was looking for a rod that I can pair with my Stella and I was thinking about ultra high end travel rod, I had to choose between World Shaula and G-Loomis Escape, I went with Escape and WOW, it is light, light as feather. I love it so far, here is some picture that I just took when it was delivered. This specific model in line up is made by GLX blank and make it special in all seven rods in line up.
  10. Ok I made the return, Would you show me sample of good split fins? if it is amazon link, it will be much better. https://www.amazon.com/Scubapro-Scuba-Diving-Twin-Jet/dp/B0000E1QXQ/ref=sr_1_20?crid=544X5VMRC976&keywords=split%2Bfins&qid=1652783062&sprefix=split%2Bfins%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-20&th=1&psc=1 I think thats what you suggesting.
  11. Yup I start kicking but I didn't move LOL and it wasn't high wind, it was a breeze, I am sure oars will work. Now I am thinking maybe it is because of my fins, they are no good.
  12. I went out for first time with my float tube, How the heck people can do it with fins, I didn't bring the oars with me and I taught I would be fine right? NO the wind blow me from one bank to other bank , So I need to get down and use the rope to tide my float tube to a pole and walk back to my car and bring the car to that side to get my float tube. That was a good day on water and I enjoy the ride in general. Any tip for using fins will be appreciate. At least I could get a nice picture of my float tube from the bank
  13. thats what I use and I like both but look at the head shape as well, specially in strike king.
  14. Fluoro and lowest lb test you can get away with it if floating, If suspending and slow sinking you can get away with mono. I personally use 10lb fluorocarbon Tatsu for all my jerjbaits.
  15. We dont have conquest cranking rod, Plus it is overkill if we had one, I use Shimano SLX cranking and paid $79 for it and thats fits cranking.
  16. -Shimano Exsence C3000XG Spinning, I can say thats the best when it comes to performance and thats the best in cosmetic. -Shimano Antares DC 21 Casting because it can cast small 3/8oz jerkbait to 2oz jig and anything between, Plus needless to say that have latest Dc breaking system.
  17. We need this everywhere, Just back from overnight fishing trip, I collect a full garbage bg of trash only at the place I was fishing. Most annoying one is fishing lines.
  18. Wellcome to bass resource.
  19. I have both, But the Berkley 9" is good one for you. https://www.amazon.com/Rapala-RFFG9-Floating-Fish-Gripper/dp/B00YHZG57Q/ref=asc_df_B00YHZG57Q/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=311998322334&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8155934164415294480&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031112&hvtargid=pla-439828830386&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=62421706072&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=311998322334&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8155934164415294480&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031112&hvtargid=pla-439828830386
  20. I have my Antares on my gloomis, so I suggest the same.
  21. I personally like the full cork because of grip on them. But sometimes I force to choose split cork, Like all spinning gloomis Conquest SJR are split cork and because I love the rod, I have them with split handle and using them and also I am ok with it.
