I use Conquest 842S(spinning) for deopshot, Mt reel is Excence 3000 and back with Samurai 15lb and at least 10 yards of 4-6lb test Berkley vanish for leader. I must say that is a one hell of combination and you cant go wrong with that, Also I am agree with most of the guys, NRX can do the job very well as well.

Try Daiichi brand, I use them red for drop shot and wacky and so far they hold the color very well.

I use my tranx 300 for stripers.

I have M-AIRE 5'6" ML and it is very effective on streams and rivers, First I hate the idea of short rod, But when I used it I could see how it making my life easier. The second one Is my Shimano Shaula 6'6" and they both are life savers when it comes to store fishing or any place with lots of trees and overheads.

Usually if you contact them they will send you everything and they will tell you how to fix it, avoid all the fus. Same thing happened to me. And now I am good as new. They sent the guide and glue and instruction and some tool I think.

I was like that also, but since I learn double fluke rig, I do only 1X 2/0 or 3/0 at the most, And it is productive. and use light fluorocarbon of ofcourse.

Honestly I use same brand casting and spinning and defiantly casting reels are winers. Somehow the only thing is cosmetic issues, nothing about functioning. The spinning are somehow getting unbalance and loose feelings. Of course I am talking to use them side by side and no service and overhauling.
