Lets get a thread going for all of the new products for 2021 coming out this week at iCast. What all products have caught your eye thus far?

Me personally, the Curado MGL150, Rapala DT6, Megabass Sleeper Craw, and the new Missile Chunk bait all look pretty promising. The Rapala OG is now coming in a downsized version as well.

Two from Z-Man caught my eye

Football Ned Jig

The Z-Man Football NedZ Jighead is a football-style jighead built for a finesse presentation that works well with many of Z-Man's finesse plastics, including the TRD and TRD CrawZ.

and a new craw - looks like they got production rights to the Rage style

Z-Man Fishing Products' new Hella CrawZ lure is ideal for kicking up a cloud of silt and dirt when moving across the bottom of the lake thanks to its flanged claw design.

There's a new Lews reel that only holds 40 yards of line.  It's made specifically for pitching and skipping lures.  I'm really looking forward to it.

Interesting for the back lashers like me!

Exactly!  I struggle skipping with baitcasters and when it happens, the more line on the reel, the bigger the mess.  It looked the the reel had a bunch of settings on the break as well.  Looks really cool.  Was designed by KVD and Montgomery.

It will also make a nice BFS reel with it's light, shallow spool.  I'm anxious to pick one up.

maybe I just need to pop a shallow spool on my daiwa ?

They make some light ones.  My old Daiwa Alphas SV-105 has one.

Berkley Stunna is what I mostly am excited about, especially considering it drops late this month.

The Gilly looks cool too, although I am skeptical of the way they rig it with the EWG in the side.

I like that new DT-8. That falls right in line with the DT-6 that I fish the heck out of. Hitting a bit harder with the xtra 2 feet will work out great. Quite a while before you can get one. I’ll try a few of them in my better patterns. One of the new patterns I saw I can make things happen with that also.

I’ve been picking up fish on the OG Slim. Decent bait. Not sure if I’m interested in an 04 series or not. Good Rapala colors on those Slims.

The Berkley Gilly just grabbed my attention too. The action looked great on video when hopping it on a Texas rig.

IKE has been pushing that Gilly a ton on social media haha

I was absolutely intrigued by all the new JDM stuff that TW talked about today. There is some far out stuff coming out from over there. Like the dancing bone doctor, the heavy poop stick bait, the flip gill, and I learned about a new technique called hover strolling.

One bad thing I’ve noticed this year, it seems like there’s even more stealing ideas from company to company.

If an idea isn't the subject of a legally recognized form of intellectual property protection, then copying it is fair game and certainly is not a crime.  That's how technology companies work too.

I get all that. I simply think it’s lame.

The Power Pole trolling motor looks nice too....oh wait.

Ya, I saw that and went 'What the hell?!'

Where would you need a TM with a shaft that long? The QE-II?

The innovative companies should at least play their cards closer to the vest until the product is actually released so copiers would be much later to market (think Apple).  Also, companies would do well to patent their truly innovative inventions (think Z-man and the chatterbait patents).  Problem solved...

Spro Flappin Frog and DT-8 will definitely hit my box.  Probably some of the new Z-Man stuff too.  The limited edition Tatula SV looks awesome and I want one but won't be springing for it...
