  1. not to mention some states are making it mandatory in the near future
  2. It’s not a requirement. USCG rule 33 Your boat horn, air horn, a whistle are all good as a sound signaling device. Congratulations on your new boat. Great luck and enjoy.
  3. Welcome aboard Ryan..

With over 70,000 members on this site how many are LEO’s do you think? With that being said that’s not a very smart question or remarks to put on a public forum. The members on here are not only legal fishermen but also very ethical if you would have taken the time to read some post you would have come to that conclusion. Good luck on your endeavors and I hope you make some good decisions.
  9. I just to say welcome aboard and I’m always glad to see a youngster getting involved. Even if it’s a no go on keeping the bass, don’t let that stop you from doing other stuff that you can use your tank for. Maybe start a bait business? As long as it’s legal and your parents are okay with it. Good luck J
  10. Welcome aboard..
  11. I always pre rig and I never use swivels except for C rigs
  12. Welcome aboard.. Your in for some good fishing down there.
  13. Brand is a personal preference as stated above I like humminbird. Pardon was spot on. DI on bow and SI on console if it's in your budget. Make sure whichever ones you pick they communicate with your TM brand. Definitely same brand for both. $ will determine the size. And yes have them installed with the purchase of the boat. There are nice units out there that are fairly inexpensive and easy to use. One example would be Lowrance hook2 series.
  14. All great advice.. All I expect or demand from my co angler is respect, which is the same I show him/her
  15. I look forward to that. SM lures from the master....
  16. I try to be as good as A Jay. When I see his stuff I just smile and admire,
  17. 4 , 5, 7 Heck. I can't find that dang plug.....
  18. Spinning for wacky and on winding days skipping. Other than those BC. Both have there place and it's also a personal preference to what feels best.

Is there a issue with your current TM.? I'm a Ultrex fan. But that's just my personal choice.
  20. You will need at least a 5 pin if your backing up some of the newer bass boats. I know without it your not going to back up my Skeeter. The 5th pin closes off the valve that allows fluid to the brakes when the back up lights activate on the trailer.
