Who rigs the boat?
Shouldn’t be a problem. $3600 is a good chunk of $. If you would be happy with the other boat tell the dealer you changed your mind. And as AJ stated there’s a lot to say for dealer install items.

Thoughts on buying a used Skeeter
I’m a little prejudiced, I love my Skeeters. There great boats and as far as resale I have always got good resale $. Then again I take excellent care of mine. I’ve put a lot of hours on mine in Fl.and have never had any issues. Have a certified mechanic look the boat over and good luck with your purchase.

Battery question
Txfish. Keep in mind when messing with your boats batteries and wiring it’s not the area you want to take short cuts. If the cost to do it right is more than your willing to spend, then you’ll be better off leaving it as it is. Last thing you want out on the water is a boat fire. Gasoline tends to go boom.
