  1. I get a kick out of this because it makes me think of my friends wife. She uses his live well when nature calls. Told my wife don't even think about it.
  2. Palomar for many years with no issues..
  3. Your getting great advice some from everyone. You should listen. If you must give up fishing for a few months to get better, well that's life. I had a 2 bad shoulders but wasn't willing to give up my archery season. Dumb move. Now I have 5 screws in left shoulder and 3 screws in my right. I sure wish I would have listen to the Dr.
  4. Congrats.. Nice deer.
  5. Welcome aboard Emiliano..

Catt. did you ever get out turkey hunting?
  7. According to the park ranger website The winter boat access is provided at Dam site picnic area and Salmon run. I've never been there but hope this helps.
  8. BnB have you checked on the flea market here on the site. When you do, post what your looking for and you may get lucky. I've seen camps up this way that have had john boats that they just wanted to get rid of. Not to mention that during this Christmas season you may find someone who may just want to get a good holiday feeling and give you a great deal. I wish you great luck on your quest.
  9. Should have enough left for a life jacket.
  10. Congrats... Looks great. Enjoy.
  11. This is good advice. Should be all you need to answer your questions about your trolling motor pick.
  12. Another columbia pants fan.Great sun protection, comfortable and like said above they dry fast.
  13. Typical fisherman exaggerating....... LOL
  14. Nothing wrong with that at all. The more the merrier
  15. While were all emptying our boats and rearranging all our tackle don't forget to check the expiration dates on your gas cylinders for your life vests.
  16. Welcome aboard Brian....
  17. Long range deer hunting in Kansas. It was the last day of the trip and time to pack up. Then a buck stepped out at 275 yards. The only gun out was my friends Cheytac 338-408. Now keep in mind the closest he has ever used his gun on deer was just over 700 yards with several deer taken over 1,000 yards. He will never take that close of a shot again.
  18. Chevy, Ford, Mopar. Everyone has there preference. I used to run Lowrance and now I run Humminbirds. I think the best advice I could give is go to a store that sells all three and look at them in the demo mode and see what one you like best. Good luck on your choice...
  19. Great job....
  20. Lake Erie has some big sm. I would opt for a medium rod.
  21. Sounds like a nice set up. Like any boat you'll want to get it winterized unless your familiar enough to to it yourself before you store it for the winter. You'll be glad come spring.
  22. Life is good looking at your profile pic... Warms the heart.. Merry Christmas and good luck with the boat.
  23. Ouch.. Like Shimano said aluminum can be fixed. Also welcome aboard the forum.

For stocked trout around hear we always use ultra light rod and reel with 2 or 4 lb. test line. Kast masters in either silver or gold 1/8 oz. If there not cooperating power bait in either pink or yellow under a small bobber. Good luck and enjoy. Merry Christmas
