Thanks for sharing.. Great pics. ?
  2. Welcome aboard bass guy.
  3. I believe you already know the answer. Might not be the one you’re looking for but he’s legal and in this world that doesn’t give you much wiggle room. If you harassed him or do something stupid you’ll be the one with a issue. I do hope it works out for you.
  4. 24V all day long. Better performance with less drain. Will outlast and out perform the 12v. looking forward to see pics of your new rig. Not the Jon boat but your upcoming purchase.
  5. Switched over to all Edge boxes this year. So far I really like them. But like was said above every time the bait monkey delivers I rearrange again.
  6. Grumpy there’s your good answer. Good luck and let us know how you made out. ?
  7. First thing welcome aboard Wanderer.. being that the 1448 is 14’ long I think I’d go with the largest unit that fits your budget and mount it on a swivel mount. That way it’s big enough for you to see while your sitting and moving and then swivel it around when fishing. Just a idea. If a helix 7 with mega DI would interest you, there’s one for sale in the flea market section here on the site.
  8. Welcome aboard Nimitz..
  9. If that’s not the truth ??
  10. Welcome aboard !!
  11. Sorry about that Daubs. When I posted about both batteries being the same age, I didn’t know they weren’t going to be running parallel. I should have read your later post about putting it in the front of the boat. ?

    Welcome aboard Kenny
  13. You need to get 2 new deep cycle batteries unless your other battery is new. If not you will have drain issues with the battery. Like what said above you’ll get interference on the FF if on the same battery. I suggest you go with 100 AH battery if size allows. If not go with the largest that will fit and you’ll be good all day on the water. Good luck.
  14. Sorry to sound like we’re pilling on stuff but the tires will need replacing and the trailer giving a good thorough inspection.
  15. Welcome aboard Drew...

  18. If your interested in it, ask him to let you take it to a qualified mechanic and have it checked thoroughly. It will cost but save you in the long run. Also take someone who is very familiar with boats take it for a test drive unless the mechanic is willing to.
  19. I second taking it to a Yamaha dealer and have a certified mechanic give it a going over. Then you’ll have peace of mind and get into a regular maintenance schedule.
  20. The Amish could use those whiskers for buggy whips....
  21. It means it has a port that you connect if you have the compatible sensors installed on your motor/ accessories. I forgot gn4 is also wi-fi compatible. imho it’s not worth the extra money. And about the Solix I don’t own one but there are post on here that guys that do wish they would have gotten a Helix. But that’s personal preference and opinions. Hope this helps. No such thing....
  22. The two main differences is gn4 you can get a 15” screen and NMEA capability.
