I’ve had all the above for some time now. I’ve had days when ffs helped and other days that I’ve spent too much time on it. As for spot lock, power poles I wouldn’t leave home without them. There’s plenty of lakes I fish where poles are useless and other lakes where spot lock is useless. When I’m fishing smaller lakes that I know like the back of my hand I don’t even turn on the ffs. Now where Katie @Swamp Girl fishes there’s no way I would use any of it.

Communication is something I always do when fishing a tournament with a back seaters. Just talk to your partner before and discuss different situations that can occur. There will be times when going in to get a snag out is good and there’s times when it not feasible. If it’s a partner new to tournament fishing you’ll be better off to discuss basic things. Like I’ve said before common courtesy goes both ways.

How does my bass get big… I have my daughter hold it out as far as she can then take the picture.

I always fill at a station with non ethanol fuel. There’s only one within 20 minutes so I fill it (40 gallon gallon tank) when I get down to half.
