Dual purpose batteries are very common. As @A-Jay said starting battery and runs electronics and pumps.

You choose a profession that can be very stressful. You need to set aside time such as fishing to unwind and decompress. I was in your situation for many years and family, friends and your time are very important. Congrats on your new career.

I agree with regular pfd while big engine is running. I always run with my Mustang 100 mph vest. When on deck fishing I want my auto/manual Mustang. If its a pull cord only you may have a Medical condition that makes you fall off the boat or hit your head when falling in which case the auto inflate is very important and necessary.

Depends on which model. Some 2 years some 5 years.

Glad to hear your gonna use it all the time. I’ve been using Mustang auto for years and before I replace the co2 cartridge I always drop the vest in the water and it has inflated every time.

Looks like Lily pads to me. JMO. There are several reasons why lilies don’t bloom. Not enough nutrients, not enough sun light and overcrowded. But I’m no botanist for sure.
