  1. Never go under the minimum cca that extra $100 is well worth the piece of mind.

  5. NewB look at a previous posting on locking your trailer while it’s parked. You’ll get a lot of good advice. When I go to hotels while traveling I always try to back my boat up against a wall, a pole or some structure. Also the trailer is lock as is the coupler and hitch. My truck is set up so if the trailer is unplugged the truck alarm will go off. And remove all electronics and fishing gear and take inside hotel with you. Not thief proof but at least make it hard. AJ had a great Idea to. He removes his trailer crank handle and wheel.
  6. Looking at the ones I’ve seen for sale most are running 55 lb. if your running 12v I would go with it. If your running 24v and the price is right I’d go for a 80 lb. but it’s not a must have. What length shaft have you been running and did you have any issues with it being too short?
  7. Sounds like you had a good time ?
  8. Your not alone. I guess it’s better to have it delivered from the factory and then put on a showroom floor and have people climb thru it for a month or so and then take delivery. ?

  13. When you google don’t just type in the lake, type in the boat launch at a particular lake. Then you’ll have the parking lot location.

  20. First welcome aboard Bob. All the above answers are right on the money. Take your time and enjoy the process. Do some research on the size of the lakes or rivers your planning on fishing. That will give you a good starting point as to what boat will fit your needs. Best states to fish in is opinion. Bluebasser name some good ones. Also Texas and Florida. Good luck on your quest.
  21. No. Skeeter tournament on Lake Fork Tx. For a limited # of competitors
