Alphas for pitching?
Do you really know what 20 lbs. of drag pressure looks like? Try it sometime on your rod. I hope you have a good warranty program. Better yet, set your drag at 20 lbs. and tie your line to a cinderblock and then kick the block off your porch or deck and then tell me what happened. Your not gonna like the outcome. 6-10 lbs. of drag is more than sufficient in getting fish out of heavy cover. Edited to add: My intention was not to sound like a smartass even though after I read my reply it does sound that way. I'm sure the Revo is a great reel and indeed it has a monster drag. I just wanted to let pipho know that an Alphas could be used for pitching. Apologies to flippin4it if it was taken this way. Burley, you ain't right!! :) ;D

Exclusive Interview with Gerald Swindle
My favorite Pro Angler, the G-Man Without a doubt, one of the most cocky anglers on tour. Like him or not, he tells it like it is. I like the way he fishes, I like his attitude, the G-Man's coming for you. ;D Thanks Glenn.

Alphas for pitching?
I have a "few" of them, they work fine for me. I have done some drag upgrades with Carbontex washers and probably pushing 8.5-9.0 lbs. of drag pressure. I only use about 6.5 lbs. of drag most of the time.

Swimbait baitcaster
I have one of these. You can put a bunch of line on it. Shop around and you will find a much better deal on one. Just to give you an idea, I found mine for $37.00 shipped on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/Team-Daiwa-Advantage-TD-A150H-BaitCasting-Reel-NIB-150H_W0QQitemZ7149916906QQihZ009QQcategoryZ36146QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247 Daniel, if you are interested in this reel and can't find a seller to ship to you, I can get you one and ship it. I don't know why people will not ship overseas, there's nothing to it.

Pontoon boat
Are you talking about the small inflatable ones with oars or the large ones with motors and lots of deck space? The small ones are awesome on float trips and small lakes. I have no clue on the larger ones.

Sight fishing with a crank bait........
Dude, I pitch cranks to cover and brush. Makes it rough when you catch the trebles in the hand though. There is no wrong way to fish a crank. Glad you got on them.

Most irritating fishing condition?
Well I would have normally said wind until I went to Guntersville on a "real" lake and found out what wind really was. (30-40 mph) I have never drained a trolling motor battery on any lake in WV....Guntersville eat it alive. I will never complain about the wind in WV again. ;D

Anyone here fish a crawworm as much as I do?
I knew Catt would be chiming in on this one. That man has forgot about more big bass being caught on a craw worm than I will ever catch. I use them sometimes flipping heavy cover. I use the Bait Breath version. http://www.ichibantackle.com/showproductdetail.asp?productid=2397&name=BYS%20CRAW%205.5%20inch&manufacturename=BAIT%20BREATH

I would be putting that in a frame and matting it if I were you. That would make a great family heirloom.
