New Main Line You Want To Try Next ?
Maybe go straight fluoro for once, would go tatsu. Usually go braid to leader, but am curious about ditching the leader.

What’s the lightest braid I can spool on baitcast reel?
I use 20 lb power pro as my mainline, used to use 15 lb but bumped up to make sure my mainline was well stronger than my leader. Never had a problem. what bad is supposed to happen?

They’re actually listed in the Echomap manuals as a feature. something to think OP if that’s a feature you want.

Help Breaking Down this Lake?
So I’ve fished this place for almost a year. Pretty much a big flat black water mill pond, with only structure being near the dam. Not a ton of bass in here, but there are true giants which is why I bang my head against the wall trying to figure it out. most of my success has been flipping the cypress trees which is what the green marks are. This is a fairly pressured place roughly 70 acres, so I feel it’s worth the time to fish off shore and into the deeper water. I’ve mapped it with my Garmin and this is the main fish able area. The rest is under 2 feet and over grown with hydrilla. Where would y’all target here?

I have 2 of the 7” units and love them. Can’t seem to find the range rings on waypoints though? Probably user error, but the units are great.

This is my first winter I’ve fished and after doing well June-Sept I’ve been on the struggle bus. I’ve been skunked past few outings at my go to place, and tried the river instead. Only fish of the day, but got the skunk smell out of my boat. Still have a lot to learn to adjust seasonal from the warmer months.

Fishing with a pro.
John Cox. Would’ve been just as good 30 years ago without any of the electronics. Can’t say the same about everyone else.

Recessed Pedal Tray
I think I saw something that raises the pedal up within the tray. It was featured on *** not long ago.

DIY solo bass boat
I might add, if you’re planning on decking a smaller boat the above suggestions on a flat bottom are dead on. They don’t ride as well as a V hull but much more stable fishing and standing. This is the 1448 I did last year before selling it.

1/4 oz tungsten with a trick worm is perfect for the rod.

I’ve got two, and catch 90% of my fish on them. Fantastic rods if you keep your lure weight below 5/8 oz.

Response from Seaguar on Tatsu vs Blue Label
You do the math and leader material is just much more expensive. Tatsu is 30ish bucks for 200 yds. Leader wheels are 15ish for 25. Im sure gold is great and may end up trying it, but tatsu is probably just as good for half the price.

DIY solo bass boat
I wouldn’t deck anything less than a 1448 to be honest. It’d be tippy as hell anything smaller.

Uncle Josh Pork Frog is Back ~ !
How durable are these on a hook? Provided I don’t let them dry out on the jig, what kind of life expectancy do these have?

Recessed Pedal Tray
Makes a big difference. I love cable steer, power steer I don’t feel the same control and the motor is just one more thing that can fail. But cable steer will have you looking like captain Morgan with out the recessed pedal.
