watch out for Oakley Counterfeits. i have a spare pair i bought with a gift card at BPS. they fit nice. more driving glasses than fishing. they are blue mirrored and they are fine. i like more side coverage on fishing glasses tho.

i'm braid to leader. i cant stand the coils of flouro peeling off the spool. i feel like it affects my casting, and it's sometimes a hot mess of knots. nope.

wind is relative. it really depends on the windspeed. i'm in a kayak, so i am in my truck headed home if it is over 10mph. i can cast against 10 tho. in Oklahoma. Wind is the norm. if i had powerful enought binoculars i can look way far and see the back of my own head. it is flat over there!! and Stripers munch in the wind. so it is neccessay ro cast against the storm. braid, a DC reel, and a 3/4oz lure...bzzzzz....like a rockstar.

i only eat a Costco Hotdog every once in a while. 3 a year maybe. it is usally because i am mentally weak from the hunger of buying in bulk. i dont LOVE hotdogs to begin with. my friends dad managed the Peyton meat company in El Paso. the horror stories really stuck with me. they are good tasting, but not GREAT tasting to me. if i am gonna treat my body like that, it needs to taste better.

i played with the Levante. it felt too soft for me to be all purpose. i would bump it to the Orrichi Whipsnake. it felt faster to me. but this is just me standing around bored in a showroom.

good points. thankfully, my rating is about as good at a rating can get. i froze all my credit again, after my buying my truck..so this could be a bigger pain than i want anyways. okay. my wife CC is a cash back. i will stay the course.

i never carry a balance. i dont use a CC that often, but i have been considering switching over to an Airline credit card. my fishing tackle purchases could help with some airline points to get to to actual fishing trips. i'm thinking about the SWA card. thoughts? i have a non reward card, and it just kinda sits there never helping me beyond the occasional rental card or fishing rod purchase. my main CC is my wife's costco card.

there is a similar boat on my block. it hasnt moved in the 6 years i lived in my house. i want to go and knock on the door, but not yet. i need another house with room for boat storage. i would love to take on a project like this. at my own pace and budget. it's not like a car project where you still need it to get to work.

walking around area? it is RARE to walk around on a kayak. you stand, you may pivot, but you are not walking much. at least i dont. i took a PA14 out and i was please i could pivot around to cast behind me. but i didnt step around the boat.

it isn't my Bday yet, but it is around the corner. she bought it early. she went all out. she ordered a MegaBass P5 Destroyer X-bites. she wanted me to get it early, so I can hopefully use it this upcoming Saturday.!! Now I just have to figure out how to tell her. there is no way I am hiding the rod tube..I certainly dont expect her to wrap it. I feel bad for her...she is really struggling between the Zillon SV vs the Bantam 22 for a reel to buy me...
