I'm sure it's been discussed....Jitterbugs!
I like a jitte bug. My favorite top water lure is the storm chug bug in molten steel. You can walk it or fish it like a popper

Crankbait fishing question
I use my Ml drop shot rod to fish 3/8 and under cranks on spinning gear. Yields great results. Only time I fish a medium heavy rod is when I'm ripping a lip less out of grass or throwing a chatterbait. Nine times out of ten I'm throwing lipless if I'm cranking though. I almost never change my hooks unless I think they are dull. I prefer treble baits because that's what I'm confident in. You probably could get away with a heavier action with single hooks but I do not see the advantage with what I have.

Best slower loading jerkbait rod for smallies. casting or spinning. 6'10" to 7'. $200 or below.
I throw my jerkbaits on a shimano Intenza medium fast. It’s a moderate rod. I use 12 pound fluorocarbon Line paired with a curado k I won’t use another rod for jerks. If something happend to my rod I’d buy the exact one again.

How do you organize your jerkbaits?
I usually put them together in a few boxes then I take about 5 with me for what will cover the need for the day. If I sorted them all I would not have room. Anywhere

Berkley Nessie 5
Good evening everyone, I recently tried the berkley 5. I used my medium action shimano intenza with 12 pound fluorocarbon. I really liked how good it looked but once I started to reel it in not much action there. So I started to work it like twitch bait/walking bait. This brought the bait alive once I did this it produced 3 missed strikes off a rock ledge. I expected this considering how the hook is under the belly. So my over all impression is maybe better action in the heavier style baits. Or add a nail weight to it to get it down a little. It sure has potential to be a fish catcher but I was thinking I would just fish a twitch reaper and probably get better hook ups and probably just as good results. What do you guys think that have tried this bait do you like it. It’s ok but I was thinking I probably could catch just as much off jerkbaits and twitch baits

Ideas For My Heavily Pressured City Lake
I would fish a drop shot. And a Ned rig. Also I would swim the Ned rig back with some light rod twitches will be money. You can also use any stick Ned for it. On a drop shot depends on what the hatch is. Match it. I have had good success with downsized crawdad neds on a drop shot.

Bank pounding for largemouth with my brother Friday afternoon 😊

King of Lipless Crankbaits
1/4 ounce red eye shad. 1/2 ounce super spot 1/2 ounce rattle trap 1/2 ounce red eye shad. that is what I throw. I like to throw the 1/4 ounce in winter time. As far as color I throw anything that matches the hatch. I have all kinds of colors.

What lures should I throw?
Jerkbait. Hard and soft. Not pressured it would be money you could weigh a floating one where ever you want and if you have some cover rig it weedlese. And last but not least a frog.
-
Whopper plopper
I use black and bone. That is the only colors.

Twitch baits
I will throw it on a medium stick. With a high speed reel. I generally throw my jerks on 12 pound fluorocarbon. Get great results. I fish alot of docks with floating jerkbaits in the summer get good results also anytime I know they are feeding on shad.

Twitch baits
Was wondering. The one Im going to try is a savage gear twitch reaper. Usually if I fish sub surface I'll use a floating jerk bait and just tune it to where I want it. But thought this type of lure might be fun.

Twitch baits
Does anyone use twitch baits? I have never tried them. My favorite way to catch bass is jerkbaits so I figured I would give this lure a try. How effective are they compaired to a floating jerk bait.

Baits you plan on trying this year.
I will fish just jerkbaits and lipless cranks only this year.

New 6th Sense CB
I really like the ozark craw color in the 50 crush and then I like the curve series. But I generally throw lipless for my cranks
-
Crankbaits
Square bill almost never. Lipless sometimes. From thank I usually throw a lipless 1/4 ounce lose less.

Who here fishes from the bank?
90 % kayak fish but I do bank fish on days I don’t have time to launch my yak or just want to catch a bass in 20 min and head back up to the house. I enjoy both. Another fun thing to do is wade creeks around my area.

Favorite spinnerbait brand?

Favorite technique/advice
Good morning everyone! Generally i pick out two ways I like to catch bass last year I did drop shotting and rattle traps!(I'm now addicted to rattle traps) any one else do this? So my second favorite way is jerkbaits current set up is a Shimano intenza in medium action paired with a curado k I can throw 1/4 ounce baits on it no problem so here is my dilemma I want to throw some smaller baits and thought about my St croix tournament legend pro in medium light (it's my drop shot rod) would fit th bill pretty good. My only fear is I might break it! What do you guys think? I have used the floating minnow with good success on it.

Best baitcasting rods for under $75?
Lew's carbon fire. I have a medium light I let my boys throw Ned's on. They are great rods for the money and you can get them on sale often times for 49 bucks.

Which Spinning Rod for jerkbaits/bottom contact
For jerkbaits I use a Shimano intenza medium fast action paired with a curado k I throw half ounce baits on it and 3/8 ounce baits. And generally for the river I do not throw much of anything else other than a jerk bait.
