  1. I've only used Digitaka but have had nothing but great experiences ordering from them. Always at my door within a matter of days once shipped.
  2. Another rebate offer from American Legacy just dropped. All used gear is 10% off, with a 30% rebate on all used gear as well.
  3. Logged in to my account no problem
  4. I missed that. Wonder which one it actually is then? I like the look of the rods, and the 7'2 medium has me interested, just wish it was clearer what we're getting for the money.
  5. Shows as alconite on the Daiwa site 🤷‍♂️
  6. $130 more than the non AGS Tatula elite rods which also use the Fuji alconite guides like the Zillion.
  7. Mono/fluoro leader to terminal- uni knot. Super easy to tie and hasn't let me down yet. Braid to leader- Shin Fukae knot. Easy to tie both on and off the water, even in a rocking kayak, super slim so passes through guides easily and I'm yet to have the knot break.
  8. Gotcha. I'm not sure on that, haven't tried it this time, but have in the past when they've run this deal and it worked for me then.
  9. Which additional coupon?
  10. Omnia has 20% credit back on rods and reels for Premium and Pro members instead of the regular 10% until 2/27
  11. I use a Kayak Kushion on my Outback and love it. They're pricy, but worth it in my opinion. I've had days where the wind was strong enough I didn't want to risk standing to stretch, and didn't have any back or butt pain with the kushion. Been in the same situation before I got it and it was miserable after a couple hours.
  12. Another vote for JJ's Magic here too. I find it penetrates further and lasts longer than Spike it, although I do take some spike it pens in the kayak in case I need to dye something while fishing. Don't trust myself to not dump a jar of JJ's everywhere while I'm on the water 🤣
  13. I'll vouch for the boiling water trick too. Done it a few times with some small paddle tails that had kinked tails and worked great.
  14. I've got no idea which is the most durable, but I've been using the Shin Fukae knot for a couple years with no issues so far. Easy to tie on the water in my kayak, and a small knot that passes through the guides easily. I fish inshore for redfish, flounder and speckled trout more than bass fish, but so far haven't had a knot fail while fishing.
  15. My wife had 1 package that was a couple days late, but other than that all were on time or early. All orders were shipped out extremely quickly too.
  16. They didn't have the firm option when I bought mine, so mine would be the original.
  17. I use one on my Hobie Outback and love it, especially on days when it's a little too rough for me to be able to stand and stretch easily.
  18. First thing I saw when I clicked that link was Daiwa Ballistic mq lt for $161. I really don't need a new spinning reel, but that monkeys got me now. That's a great deal for a fantastic reel. Love the 1 I have already. And $15 for Seaguar Smackdown is tempting too.
  19. No worries. Usually it's Daiwa, Shimano, G. Loomis, Megabass and St Croix. There may be others that I can't think of off the top of my head, those are just the ones I look at most and hope actually go on sale lol. Most retailers will have a list of exceptions when they post the sales.
  20. At a guess, with the Stradic fl being on clearance it'll be included in the sale, but most likely the new Stradic fm won't be as new Shimano gear is typically excluded from sales.
  21. I haven't tried it here in Louisiana, but back home in Australia spinnerbaits worked great below spillways and weirs for Australian bass and golden perch. Would imagine they'd work great for largemouth as well.
  22. Sight flash for bass and crappie. Chartreuse flash for inshore redfish and speckled trout.
  23. Bait wrx has Bait Fuel 75% off. Also have up to 30% off other items.
  24. I've only ordered from Digitaka, but had absolutely no problems with any of my orders or reels. Usually takes a few days for them to ship (in my experience), but when they do it's been at my door in a matter of days.
  25. Edge Epitome with a Daiwa Zillion g. Comes in right at 10oz fully spooled.
