  1. The $80 addition everyone's talking about is when the de minimis exemption ends, which is on the 29th of this month. So until then it's the same as always and no additional fees added.
  2. Daiwa runs the same promo every year, pretty sure the person you replied to was talking about this year's version of the promo, not last years. Beside this, as it stands for me I've received 1 of 2 shirts redeemed so far this year. First reduction was earlier in the year and came in quick, second was towards the close off date and have had the check clear but nothing else. Not in a huge rush for it to come in anyway, too d**n hot and humid for me to want to fish lately anyway lol. It'll get here eventually.
  3. Seems to be constantly changing. When I first looked earlier it was the one p5 bundle and one NRX+ inshore bundle, now has 3 NRX+ bundles, 1 Shimano Poison ultima bundle, one Steez ags bundle, one Megabass valkyrie bundle and one Evergreen bundle. Had a few different variations between then and now as well.
  4. Yep. Digitaka and Japan Lure Shop both have Exprides available.
  5. That line has my interest big time. Where'd you get it from?
  6. 20% off site wide with code FREEDOM20
  7. I got my email yesterday morning. Subject line was the same as FishTank said.
  8. Are you an Omnia pro member? The email I received for the Steez deal says it's for Pro members only, so won't show if not.
  9. That explains why I saw so many, J&H is the tackle shop we stopped at. Didn't realise they were the importer for them.
  10. I've looked at, but not handled some Dark Matter rods while on vacation on Long Island. Tackle store we stopped at for me to check out had a bunch of their rods in stock, so I'm assuming they're popular up there. We've got 0 option for high end gear where I live so I was more interested in checking out the NRX+, Legend Xtremes, P5's etc 😂. They were some nice looking rods from what I saw though.
  11. I fish inshore far more than bass, so my gear is set towards that. For spinning, 10 or 15lb braid with 15 or 20lb fluoro leader tied with a Shin Fukae knot. For casting, 20 or 30lb braid with a 20lb mono or fluoro leader tied with a Shin Fukae knot.
  12. They've been that price at my local Dick's Sporting Goods for a few years. Wouldn't be surprised to see them put them up to $25-30 now if thats the case.
  13. Yeah I saw the same comment possibly earlier today, and have noticed some retailers have changed the price already. Guess I spoke too early. Going to be hard for people to spend money on these when they're above NRX+ prices.
  14. Keitech fat swing impact 2.8 on a 1/8oz 1/0 Owner flashy swimmer works great for me in both bass and sac a lait (crappie).
  15. It's weird that it shows that price on Daiwa's site when all online retailers still have them listed for $550.
  16. The Hookup Tackle has 20% off gift cards for Fathers Day, now through June 14th
  17. I'm a Hobie guy too, but had a Native as my first kayak (Titan 12) and they're definitely a wet ride. Would always have water in the cockpit, and I didn't have a motor.
  18. Took advantage of another MidwayUSA mystery box and grabbed the last pay $312 for a minimum $500 value bass casting rod. Order was at my door in 2 days. Got a G Loomis GLX 904c mbr, so a $550 value, making this one well worth it for me. One thing I did notice though is this particular glx was shown as out of stock when I ordered, and had a sticker for the mystery box deal dated 04/03/25 over the regular model/price tag sticker on the attached tag, so they obviously decide what rods were going in before people order. Need to check to see if the same is on the Chronarch I received in the casting reel mystery box.
  19. I haven't tried any of their bass lures, but the 3 inch spoiler shad works fantastic for speckled trout here in South Louisiana.
  20. Need to edit to clarify which is which, you've got it written as both on the left lol
  21. Omnia has 20% off swim jigs and spinnerbaits until 5/6
  22. For anyone with a Dicks nearby, they've got the previous gen Poison Adrena on clearance. Picked up a 7'3mh for $225 at my local. Rods themselves weren't tagged on sale, but they were shown as being included in an email I received and rang up at $250, plus another 10% off.
  23. There is a bright lime green/chartreuse 131 available on the European market, but that's even more expensive still. Really wish they'd release that Stateside as I'm a fan of the 131 and would love a hi viz option.
  24. I've never tried it on braid, but do use it with fluoro to help make the line more manageable. I have both the KVD line and lure conditioner, and The Professors Braid Aid and find both work equally well, although the Braid Aid seems to last longer for me. The KVD I find wears off around halfway through a trip, while the Braid Aid lasts at least for the whole trip, if not longer for me.
