  1. If you’re looking for the best customer service it’s Garmin hands down, then Minn Kota, then Lowrance which is non existent. Good luck.
  2. Try Sunline FC Sniper BMS Azayaka
  3. 60/25/15 is what we do
  4. I have some 4/0 and 5/0 twist locks for toads I’ll try. Not beast hooks though.
  5. Not the ones I fish
  6. With a straight shank hook like I use, I almost always do It where I can barely feel the point coming through the plastic. I just feel better about hooksets like that than when buried in the middle of a thick plastic like a beaver. Unless I’m fishing mucky stuff that’ll catch on It.
  7. How big is the largo shad? Thing has some good thump. I need to fish It more.
  8. Everything you described is exactly what makes It fun.
  9. Hook sets on long casts suck.
  10. 50% seems way low for the winner.
  11. @Bass Rutten So if I get that Tatula swimbait rod would that be better for the treble hook baits like the regular magdraft and the bull shad? I currently have a Champion 746c (XHF, 3/8-2oz), a Bucoo Amistad (HF 1/2-1.5oz), and a MB Perfect Pitch. If I get a 6.2 reel, put 17lb p-line on, I could swap between the tat swimbait rod and one of those above for the freestyle?
  12. I was thinking about that today.
  13. I threw mine around in the pool a bit tonight and can’t believe a fish would eat these. No action. Just a hunk of plastic sinking.
  14. I just threw a Yamatanuki around in there. I can’t believe a fish would bite that thing. Literally looks like a hunk of solid plastic just sinking.
  15. Anyone do this? Mom has a pool and I was bored so I grabbed my baby bucca shad and headed over. Man, I’m going to run all my baits through It now. Pretty awesome watching the bait action. I’m probably way behind on doing this but It changed my life lol Got a sweet video of the baby bull shad too.
  16. I really think this is what I’m going to do. I’ve got so many rods that would work for different things. Just need the right gear ratio and line and I’m set.
  17. It’s that time of year. But not what won the tournament.
  18. So many better options. Less expensive better options even.
  19. I don’t think so. I use mine with straight 14lb fc. The rod is rated for 1/8oz to 1oz. I use mine for finesse jigs, weighted hook flukes, light 1/4 oz t-rigs. Dark sleepers. Excellent rod. Google Brent erhler tatula elite finesse rod and there’s a great video where he talks about It.
  20. I agree. That was a “rule” I was told when I got started. Big girls ambush, they aren’t out chasing much.
  21. Nothing? At all?
