  1. 2-2.5 is about max for me on a 1 day trip.
  2. Agree. Or for like $40 over your budget a Dobyns XP 684c.
  3. Zoom. Because they are $2.99 and all I’ve ever used.
  4. Yeah I’m canceling.
  5. Yeah if that’s the case I’ll return mine. I setup store pickup and It said it’ll be ready 5/10. It’s still not ready for pick up. I went in yesterday to ask them and they said it’s getting shipped to them and not ready yet. Yet there was multiple in the glass case in the fishing section ?‍♂️
  6. Imo neither is good for that. Both fish on the lower end of their ratings and the perfect pitch is only rated to 1.2 oz anyway. Bump up to a 6 power Dobyns.
  7. Absolutely not unethical. Fish away.
  8. A weekend getaway in the outdoors for someone who doesn’t enjoy It and only goes because you want to does not sound like a fun weekend. My advice…you stick to fishing, she sticks to her hobby, and you all find something you LOVE to do together for weekend getaways.
  9. Put a jig on my flipping stick and go a little deeper. That would be water in the 50s here. If still in the 40s all I would have is jerkbait, a-rig, drop shot.
  10. I have everything in my boat but if I was limited on what I could bring I would somehow get the water temperature and go from there. This time of year here It would be a flipping stick, squarebill, white chatterbait, spinnerbait. That’s about It. Oh and weightless senko always.
  11. Mine will be my only current Lews. I’ll probably just put some 50lb Braid on It and put It away for if I ever need a reel ready to go for heavy cover.
  12. @treble hook thanks. Just purchased one. What do you plan to use yours for?
  13. Easy. JDM Metanium, Bantam, or Zillion. Take your pick for about $270 max. Then spend the rest on baits and line.
  14. @volzfan59 thank you! Super excited but nervous for what the future holds. 4 years of part time law school while trying to make It work with a full time work schedule is going to be tough. I’ve always been just kind of a jump in and see what happens kinda guy though.
  15. Spro
  16. No he’s not supposed to be on the couch ?
  17. 15000 people a day drive by my house in real life, I don’t care if a picture of It is blurred. Same reason I don’t blur out license plates in photos. I don’t even know what the point of that is.
  18. Navy, oil field, law enforcement…yep I cuss. Also have a BS, an MBA, and just got accepted to law school. So i don’t buy the weak mind/lack of intelligence theory. I know when to not use profanity though.
  19. My 13 year old son has been throwing them since he was 8. Any adult with an ounce of coordination should be able to. Get a casting reel from Lews, shimano, or daiwa and you’ll be fine.
  20. It takes 20 seconds to tie a knot or less. I don’t use snaps.
  21. I don’t like It. If you want to throw the tiny lures, use your spinning gear. Step up to bigger lures for the casting gear.
  22. These exactly in black, green, and plan to get some in red.
  23. Maybe I need to force myself to use It more. So far it’s good at everything but not great at anything imo. What’s It best for in your opinion @Dumbbassanglr
  24. Not anymore
  25. I’ve never flipped a tube so I could be off base but It doesn’t look like enough hook gap to penetrate the tube enough to me.
