  1. Lol I’m not tech savvy enough to even know what g-drive is. I also have the list in case my stuff ever gets stolen.
  2. I keep a list on my phone of every setup I own and what their duties are. Got this for this one now: Spooks/Buzz Baits/Horny Toads/Lipless/Paddletails/Swim Jigs/Spinnerbaits/Chatterbaits/Swim baits: Daiwa Tatula 150HS 7.3, Dobyns Maverick 734c 7’3” 1/4-1oz, 17lb Sunline Defier Armilo
  3. I want one of those new pro $499 models. I’ll never own one but I want one.
  4. I have the 300 yard spool of sniper and it’s on there as well.
  5. I’m not a big topwater guy but occasionally I’ll throw them. And my son loves It. So I put together this semi-inexpensive combo for spooks, buzzbaits, and horny toads. Had braid on It and haven’t touched It in a year or so. Well got sick of Braid on another combo (chunked a $20 bait into oblivion when It caught in the spool and broke) so I also stripped the braid off this combo. Replaced It with 17lb armilo and after playing with It in the bedroom a little, I really like the balance of the setup. So what else would you use It for? Daiwa Tatula 150HS 7.3, Dobyns Maverick 734c 7’3” 1/4-1oz HF, 17lb Sunline Defier Armilo
  6. When you see the red part of the line on a sunline spool, Is that halfway?
  7. Hey look what else showed up today. First, my back ordered yamatanukis! Second, a care package from Vexus.
  8. A very good local fisherman asked me one time if Shad change to chartreuse when the water gets dirty. Lol. I kind of lied above. I have more than two specific colors but what I meant was: crankbait - Shad color, craw color jerkbait - white/pearl color, chrome/silver i don’t know the specific color names but it’s always those variations.
  9. I own two colors of cranks and two colors of jerkbaits. So yes.
  10. Wanted another pitching setup that was shorter than my current ones so got the Champ 684c paired with Curado 200 7.4. Sold a head Turner before and it’s truly the only rod I’ve ever regretted getting rid of. So got another one for spinnerbaits. Paired with Curado 150mgl 6.2
  11. 1. It can move but it’s zero adjust because it’s factory set and meant to be adjusted zero amount. I don’t mess with mine. Plus you don’t adjust daiwas to lure weight like shimanos anyway. 2. Whatever you prefer. 3. That depends on what lures you want to use and isn’t reel specific. 4. It’ll cast any of those weights depending on rod.
  12. I’ll probably pick up a couple spools of 17lb just to have. $15 is hard to beat. I do like Sniper best and currently have about 500 yds of 20lb.
  13. How’s the p-line ultimate fluorocarbon? TW has It at 50% off when you buy two. Beat me to It. At tackle warehouse.
  14. Those are sick looking
  15. like spot lock? I use It with Livescope. I see what I want to throw It, orient myself to It, hit spot lock, throw at target. I don’t HAVE to see what I’m casting at 100% of the time. btw I use spot lock way more to just find structure I like rather than find and watch individual fish take my bait. Although that’s pretty cool too
  16. works for me and everyone I know just fine. Fortrex works fine too.
  17. I would imagine everyone on this thread is the same way. But we all played along.
  18. Probably. They currently make Champion XP and HP.
  19. It seems like g loomis sponsors less fisherman also. This would contribute to seeing less pros using them.
  20. Agree. The guys that win the most tournaments around here pitch soft plastics. 100% of the time, year round. They’ve gotten really really good at It and that’s what they do. While the rest of the field is running around thinking the bass “should be hitting chatterbaits and squarebills. Well that’s not working so let’s try a spinnerbait. Dang not today. Let’s run across the lake. I swear It's pre-spawn and Shad spawn. This should be working!!! Let’s run across the lake again.” Meanwhile the winner is slowly working an area all day getting big bites pitching a creature.
  21. Of what I own… I would choose Daiwa Tatula SV Limited 7.1, Daiwa Rebellion 7’3” MH F 1/4-1oz, 15lb invisx fc I use It now mostly for weightless senkos, but can (and have) easily throw light Texas rigs like speed craws with 3/16 or so weight, 3/8 oz dirty jig finesse jigs. That would cover just about anything I need to do.
  22. I did the exact same thing. I’m going to be well stocked in these.
