My whole fishing “career” is s slump. Boozin snd going to work remind me I’d rather be fishing.

I and many others around here run a G3 tunnel but with a jet.

@TnRiver46 no I’m actually not. I’m making the argument he’s doing good for himself in a sport that is hard to cash checks. In the end he maybe one of the few that could make it on winnings alone. You just won’t take your tunnel vision off and think everyone is attacking him.

@TnRiver46 if I shouldn’t know don’t make it public knowledge. I was making a half hearted joke at how much it costs to do this sport at the pro level.

At least his electronics are paid off now. His next win will pay his boat off. Sadly seems like he has a long way to go to actually make money off the winnings. I hope he does win again and I hope he continues to kill it. Most people don’t get to live their dreams especially at 19

@king fisher it was a relative example not comparing apples to apples. You kind of proved my point. If you use drones you’ll see more deer kills. You’ll know exactly where those deer are. Which is the whole point of the FFS. You are casting to fish not blindly. If you use FFS you are seeing bigger bags and more catching. Again it’s allowed so why not use it. The sporting aspect of it is somewhat being taken away which is what people are arguing the most.

I could personally careless who wins. I am not taking away anything from any pro angler. It’s like using a drone to find deer you just have to get close enough to shoot it. You see the fish you see how I acts you just have to get it to bite. Which I am not saying is easy. It does take the intuition out of it as many have said.

Those pros are using FFS to skip docks. Why wouldn’t you?

The old guys seem very stuck about wanting to fish their way. Which I get but it’s hurting them. They have FFS but, don’t like it. Their bread and butter was this or that. Point blank if you aren’t scopin all day every day you won’t be in the top ten. Till/if there is a change that’s how it will be.

I try to help out anyone I see that may need help. Most times they say they are alright. hats off to you for helping out. I have never run across this situation but, thank you for being a good and responsible person.

I use 6th sense neoprene. I do like the fact that they do not cover the bait. Some few like it should go down further. Also I color coated my sleeves by rod action.

I did fish the susky the only thing I have to report is a flat rear tire on my truck.

My next truck will be silver more than likely to match my boat. If not maybe white

I don’t run anything special tranx and ultegra across the board.

I would think the biggest difference is starbrite is bio degradable enviro safe and tested on boat surfaces to be safe. That May not be the case with something else.

Hold my beer! I raced motocross growing up. i love hockey. I only played street hockey as a kid. The high school I went to did not have a hockey team but two of the others around here did. I was raised in a flyers house hold but, am a bruins fan. I live very close to where the Hershey bears play. My grandma had season tickets for over a decade and she was 80s still going to games. I have made the drive up to Boston a handful of times to watch them play. My wife one year for Christmas surprised me with bruins leafs tickets. So awesome to see two original 6 teams play. I was at a bears practice one time. I was under 10 years old. The late Wade Belak gave me a practice puck. Being a kid and dumb I ended up losing that puck. I kick myself for it. It was not signed but, you can’t put a price on that kind of kindness especially from an enforcer. it’s also pretty neat that some of the bears players show up to the local ice arenas in the off season and scrimmage each other. They will even play in some of the beer league games. They only go 100% when they are one on one with another bears teammate.

50 snd half an inch of rain here today. 64 and sunny tomorrow. The river rat will ride again!

@casts_by_fly maybe I’m just thsg bad at fishing 😂😂 on the flip side now that i mainly fish the river they aren’t really in there. I mean it’s the river you can bump into anything but you are more likely for a musky,walleye,catfish as an accident catch
