BFS spinnerbaits
They also have an equivalent to Roadrunners called the Micro Bredy. Photo below with regular Bredy. The regular Bredy? 3" and smaller swimbaits. I'm quite fond of OSP Dolive Stick or Dolive Shad. Here's an article relating to BFS: https://www.tackletour.com/reviewinsightzappuweedlessunderspin.html

BFS spinnerbaits
I run 4-6lb (on spinning though) and have never broken a hookset. Ever. You must be really yanking it! 😃 Much of the point of running this light stuff is for unparalleled feel. I feel the rod start to load from the fish and then it's just a light sweep for the hookset. That's it. No need to drive anything home. Don't rush it. Bear in mind these smaller spinnerbaits have smaller, sticky hooks. And, more importantly, a smaller overall profile. So it almost feels like they hook themselves. Easier for them to inhale it? Beats me...but just a gentle swipe and they're hooked. Someone mentioned the Pond Magic and it is quite good. I'm not a spinnerbait expert by any means as there's a VERY short window here before it becomes Pike City. Jackall Deraspin is quite nice too...but has been impossible for me to get consistently. If we're talking SMALL underspins, the Zappu Bredy is exceptional and totally weedless.

Frog Dock Skipping suggestions
Z-man Goat Toad skips like nobody's business...

I'm sure it's been discussed....Jitterbugs!
I also love the Jitterbug but prefer something a bit noisier but along the same lines...the Jackall Pompadour. Same sort of unique topwater sound..but with loud rattles and more bubble trail. But I agree wholeheartedly...these are just about the most amusing and easy topwater baits to throw!

Crankbait for fishing around pike
I bow down to your greatness, Sir! That is a truly spectacular fish! For those that don't know...that's a "Pike of a Lifetime" level fish right there. And you don't catch those without skill and spending an inordinate amount of time on the water. Truly, truly awestruck. Would love to hear more details on fish and gear used. Wow...just Wow!

How do y’all fish Berkley Gillys?
No Free Rig love with these? There's a brief video on Youtube with underwater footage with someone throwing these on a Free Rig.

Crankbait for fishing around pike
Excellent suggestion! But honestly, the titanium stuff isn't required for a mere Pike. Check out their coated, tieable THIN Surflon Micro Supreme or Micro Ultra. It's what I use.

Neko rig
Unless you're throwing completely weightless around docks, boats and whatnot, most every other technique people use have weights that can't be buried. And I certainly can't notice any difference in numbers caught weightless vs "loud" weighted presentations around such structures. And in all honesty, I have seen fish around docks not even react about ANY noise I've made around such structures. I half wonder if this is because these structures/boats make plenty of noise all on their own floating and banging around...and the fish have no doubt become conditioned to ignore such habitual background/environmental noises. As with all things, YMMV.

Soft plastics pouches
Plano also makes some. They are called Stowall.

Soft plastics pouches
Recently went through the same thing. Wanted something "nicer" than a ziplock. The first one are cheap but surprisingly functional. These were made for paper products. Zippers, plastic, semi-see through. Smallest size is tiny note pad size or cheque book. Largest would easily swallow a full sized legal pad. The second one are Daiwa D-Vec bags and fishing specific. I've also seen these advertised as Daiwa Tactical bags. These are high quality. There's nylon reinforcement at the top, the zipper is much more robust and there's a big pull on the zipper. The plastic is thick and is Marine Grade Isinglass. This is what I chose to ultimately use. It's a quality product and should last a long time. I'm using the Medium size..but there's also a L and XL. Sizing as follows: Medium (8.5” X 6”) Large (9” X 12”) X-Large ( 11” X 14”)

Sony neck cooler in the dog days of summer
It's definitely worth trying! Whatever can keep you cooler and more comfortable. Because that could mean more fishing! Buy it and post the results. I'd be interested to hear about it.

Pick 3 baits
Same. I know they can be a bit slooow to fish in the traditional set up. But I also use Drop Swimming where you precisely keep the swim bait above the snotty vegetation we have here. And in that case, it works very well indeed.

What Is Your Favorite Neko Rig Worm ?
I am not an avid Neko fisherman but I thought the Geecrack Bellows Stick using the rather excellent Geecrack Neko Hack looked great! For a weight I used a Decoy DS15 screw in weight. I enjoyed fishing it and it definitely got bit, but I enjoy other techniques much more. Just a preference thing. But if you want to try something different, this would be it!

The Muskie Jitterbug
I love these crawler type of lures! I have the smallest Jitterbug. I recently got a sized down version in soft plastic by Raid called the Micro Dodge. But the full size version is the Deka Dodge and catches fish! And of course the incredible Jackall Pompadour! These baits are just fun to throw and I love the racket and sounds they make.

Water Temp for Beginning Top Water ?
As expected, 1.5 hours+ of throwing topwater without a single hit. Still far too early here.

Braid to leader questions
I've recently started using braid after using exclusively mono line. Bear in mind I fish ultralight/finesse spinning exclusively, so my experience might not mirror others. At this point, I personally see no benefit to using braid. And it was rather difficult to find a braid that could cast similar distance to mono throwing lightweight presentations. Most braids didn't feel "slick" and I also wonder if the micro eyes in my rods were partially to blame for disappointing distance. I finally settled on Spro Finesse Braid. It's very "slick" and casts very well. Sadly, it's hideously expensive. And those same micro eyes proved problematic for leader knots. I settled on a tiny knot favored by carp fisherman (they use 4lb test with 8-9 foot rods with micro eyes). I figured if it was good enough for 20+ pound carp, bass should be fine. And thus far that's been proved out. That being said, I prefer no leader...until I get a long distance snag at which point I wish I had a leader! As far as performance? I'm strictly in the "meh" camp. I'm just not seeing any benefits in my fishing. My rods are already fantastically sensitive so any benefit from the line is incremental at best. Sure, I can definitely feel less stretch than mono, but I don't think this has helped...or hurt. So for me, I don't think braid has improved anything for me and the cost is prohibitive. As with all things, YMMV.

Water Temp for Beginning Top Water ?
I live in the North and while you can catch fish topwater here when it's cold, it's inconsistent and feels almost like incidental catches. I do wonder if it's more prey driven (ie. Frogs and bugs)...and those don't exist here until well into the summer. That being said...I'm inspired to give it a go this evening! Overcast, water calm, 70 degrees outside, water temp still in the high 50s though.

Organization
I'm not sure if this will suit your needs but I used this. Holds 50+. And box is quite small, though this is the "medium" size. They make larger ones and they surely would hold hundreds. Company is called Jigbox Medium: https://a.co/d/9cPXxK8 Large: https://a.co/d/9UQcbkV

Keitech Swing Impact Fat storage?
Thanks for that! I'd be most concerned about my French Pearl (white) ones. And less concerned about my darks co-mingling. Out of curiosity, which one is your favorite size and color?

Keitech Swing Impact Fat storage?
Excellent! You have noticed bleeding though?

Keitech Swing Impact Fat storage?
Any problems with storage deformation (out of the clamshell) causing swimming issues?

Keitech Swing Impact Fat storage?
A bit of a weird topic for sure. As an enthusiastic minimalist, I try to refine and/or size down when possible. This year, I've switched to a spectacular tiny sling instead of my small backpack. As a result, the original clamshell packaging of the Keitechs are too bulky now. Mind you, I'd only take 3 clamshells total. So now I think I want to put the Keitechs in a small box pictured below. I keep 4 chatterbaits plus any swimbait I remove. Does anyone else store these outside of the clamshell? Do the colors bleed, if say, you have darks mixed with whites/pearls? No damage to the tails? Any negatives? And how do you sort? By color? By size? I currently use the 3.8, 3.3 and 2.8...though the 3.3 is probably the least used and I don't think I'll replenish my small stock.
