Did you all hear about these new bass called tiger bass and gorilla bass? a team of sceintists for 3 years did a cross between a superaggresive male northern strain and a 13+lbs female florida strain to create hybrid fish which in 27 months grew to 8 pounds in a experimental pond. The gorilla bass is a superagressive northern crossed with a superagressive female. They bight harder and average around 3 pounds they caught 60 gorilla bass in 30 minutes with 2 anglers! The hybrid was crossed with the gorilla 3 years ago and raised in a pond, 3 years and these fish have grown to 8 to 9 pounds and are superaggressive like the gorilla. You can buy these fish to stock in pond but they are not putting them in our local lakes just yet. You might not be able to tell the difference because they are the same color and exterior as a largemouth but bigger and may more aggressive. Check in a bassmaster magagzine to find out more.

  4. Humminbird 595c is only 549.99 at bass pro shops. it has gps + speed and temp and its a great fishfinder. i have a humminbird 535 and its great even though i dont have a gps.

  9. i dont have one but i saw a whole bunch of them at a show and they are not to me any easier to read than my good ol humminbird 535.
  10. i am not feeling so well after day one of lake toho. i have one guy in the top ten(woo daves) and my closest guy is in 40(luke Clausen) and 45 (Denny Brauer) and Bink Desario didnt even show. Shaw Grigby aint even doing well.

  12. i would use a Kreature bait texas rigged. throw it past them and make it look like its intruding their area and they will usually hit it.

  14. I Would prefer fishing isolated laydowns with a Kreature Bait or a Stanley Jig with a Yum trailer
  15. Whe get freezing temps but usually not alot of ice fishing so we can go out on the lakes anytime but only the year round lakes.
  16. ;D I have gone tubing in a bass rig before and they work fine, but aluminiums dont work for that because they are to light or that is what i have been told.
  17. i keep a already used up pocket fishing log, i think it is fun to have around especially when my record bass (lbs7.1oz) was caught and recorded on there.

  25. I fish on one end of Long lake(380 acre lake in Lacey Washington) it looks like two lakes connected by a 30 yard channel The part i fish is a no wake zone and my honey hole is a patch os lily pads which has a dropoff and Milfoil beds all around it with big mats of dead milfoil floating about
