  1. I realize winter has set in for the majority of the northern members, myself included, and it got me to thinking about Bassmasters Day on the lake articles. I especially enjoyed the Bill Dance article because it was interesting to see a legend test his skills on an unknown lake. Wouldn't it be cool to see BASS put together a "legends" tournament? Possibly a 3 day tourney filled with some of the legends of BASS like Parker, Martin, Dance, Houston and even some of the greats that are still fishing competetively like Hibdon, Clunn, etc. I would be glued to the TV watching this event and would even make a roadtrip if I could. Anybody else agree with me? I am curious to your opinions

  10. Pontiac lake gets VERY heavy fishing pressure. That being said, my advice would be to downsize your baits. Depending on the time of year for the tourney Tubes, dropshots and slow rolling spinnerbaits may be the ticket. It would help to know what month your tournament is in. You can find hundreds of lake reports for Pontiac on Michigan sportsman.com Also, hit the local tackle shops and ask the workers. KD outdoors on M-59 is a good source in the area
  11. My son was 4 and at daycare playing with a basketball. The teacher said "AJ, put the ball down, its time to come in." AJ: "Aw, thats kinda crappy" Teacher: "AJ, we don't say that word, Its a bad word." AJ: "No its not, crappy is not a bad word. Sh^% , Dam^ , F^$# , A#S%&*^ are bad words. My Daddy will spank my butt if I say those words." It was a long ride home............. I still laugh about it 9 years later

  14. If you don't plan on moving much ( hiking, still hunting, walking) I would HIGHLY recommend Rivers West. www.riverswest.com It is the best cold weather gear I have ever used. Ten year warranty, and totally wind/waterproof. It is Not very breathable as I said but I can sit in 15 degree wind/snow with just a sweatshirt underneath and not get chilled a bit.

I gave my son a $20 Double Eagle for his 1st birthday. Do you think its worth anything??? Just kidding.. However, I have purchased a proof set or silver piece for each of his 12 birthdays with the year on it. Just thought it was kind of cool at the time and haven't stopped.
