  1. Excelletn Job everyone!! Much more clear. Just in time for the increased traffic of winter posts while the water is hard. Thanks Glenn
  2. Probably too much Fish Porn on his computer...... Glad he is just temporarily restricted
  3. Try contacting Dave Davis at NBAA He is the local Tournament director for the SW ohio chapter. Also, There is a weekly open tournament once a week at Ceasars Creek. I believe you can find info at the DNR website
  4. He was recently spotted with Demi Moore. Might have had something to do with her divorce from Ashton Kutcher...... I thought I heard in the tabloids that she said "Ashton could tell me the water was cold, but Catt told me it was cold and how deep"
  5. Thank God we can all agree that we love to fish............ Gentlemen, that is the most RANDOM, ECLECTIC, WACKY mix of music I have ever heard in one post.. RW - Sorry, but Lady Gaga looks like woody the woodpecker with that schnozz Lund- I love me some jazz but the Benny Hill theme?? Chris - Not a fan of the remake, but then again, I never liked Neil Young I'm mostly a classic rock/ Country guy: Van Halen, Maiden, Jamie Johnson, Jennings, etc However, I must admit that I have a thing for soulful female artists: Joss Stone, Susan Tedeschi, Fiona Apple, and anything by Jennifer Nettles Man, I'm screwed up too.... Must be a fisherman thing
  6. Ooops sorry. Typo. I meant the 391
  7. Beretta Urika 3901. Hands down. This gun will shoot 2 3/4 through 31/2 simultaniously with no issue as well as the lightest trap loads to the heaviest magnums without a jam. The Beretta gas system is famous for cycling hundreds of rounds without the need for cleaning. It shoulders well and has low recoil. Field and Stream magazine listed the Beretta as the best all around shotgun. All Urika guns come with a hard case, five choke tubes from skeet -Full, oil, a choke tube wrench. I have used mine for dove to goose and everything in between. The Beretta full choke throws an amazingly tight pattern as well.
  8. Hopefully, this will clear up some questions/concerns regarding this great product. There have been numerous threads about seafoam and they always seem to pop up every few months. Although I found the article on another site I hope it is able to be posted: Enjoy http://www.maxim-x.com/seafoam.html#whatdoesitdo
  9. by waving my hands in front of my nose and opening the windows, usually...... just sayin
  10. Sorry, I should add that whenever you are cutting muscle meat for jerky be sure to cut with the grain. This will allow better marinating and also easier chewing. The membrane of the meat will soak up the marinade better and not dry out as fast. Cutting with the grain ensures that bites are taken against the grain and will not "string" out as well as makes it more tender
  11. Try this one: 2/3 Cups of Worchestershire 2/3 Cups of Soy Sauce (do not buy kroger brand) 2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp onion powder 1 TBSP Honey 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes dash of liquid smoke hickory Marinate meat for up to 8 hours (overnight is best) Place on racks and dehydrate This recipe works best if you are using cut meat and not ground. Strips should be cut 1/4 in thick and depending on your dehydrator or oven. 150deg for 4-8 hours Enjoy
  12. First off, Welcome to the site Second, winter fishing in Cincy may require a little legwork but there are some great local rivers to fish and the panfish action will really be strong until some ice. Sharon woods is a decent little lake for shore anglers as well as the Little Miami and Great Miami Rivers. Not a whole lot of places around UC. You'll have to venture north a bit. If you are ever around Lebanon, let me know Search around on the site, there are quite a few threads about local fishing holes in Cincinnati. Good luck and tight lines
  13. Great Fish AJ!! I actually really miss the Michigan Summers up in the northern lower. Next summer, maybe I'll get to hit Hillman, Mi. again and get in some football action again. Tune up the snow blower.......
  14. Jamey Johnson is a throwback country performer. Love that guy.
  15. Sorry, but it just seemed like the sound board guy should have been fired, immediately. Almost every performance sounded off. Too much guitar, too little voice, etc. As much as I dislike Taylor Swift her performace was very good. And Jennifer Nettles has the most amazing pipes......
  16. Seafoam all the time, every time. In every engine I own
  17. MMMmmm Yummy.
  18. Pics Please!!!!!!
  19. I would encourage all of you to go to the toolbar near the top of the page and click on the Member Map on the far right. zoom in on the map and place a pin near your home area. It is always good to see where other members are located in case you may need to pick up a rider or are looking for local lake advice when traveling to a new lake. As I posted previously, I am in Lebanon, Oh at Shake Run. I fish at least once a week so if anyone is looking to head out let me know. BTW, I just fished yesterday and the fall bite is in full swing, we slayed em.....
  20. Start lifting weights? Try a pulley system. They make them to lift up a bike, canoe, etc and then you can drive under it in the garage. That doesn't help you at the ramp though.
  21. Sign me up!! I want a signed 8.5 X11 picture of Glenn May
  22. Absolutely!!!! With no baggage, kids, wife, etc. YES YES YES A buddy of mine got drafted out of high school and he asked me if I thought it was worth it to play in the minors rather than go to college. My response was the same: YES YES YES. Give yourself a 2-4 year deadline, if you don't make it go to school etc. What an experience to say you fished professionally. And, you never know what may happen
  23. By some "Mend It" and keep fishin.....
