I thought that too, but didn't want to cross the line ;D.

    Welcome .
  5. LBH, you should handle this, but if your going to call Bobby I hope you mention that this guy didn't me the criteria Bobby laid out. Per my conversation with Bobby he said he must issue an apology on every board out there admitting EVERYTHING. He made no reference to the stealing of baits and tackle or passing off copied articles of his own. Unfortunately he probably did issue an apology on ever site he's not banned from.
  6. Totally agree when you are talking just worms and jigs, but for me(and i'll stress only me)not a good thing when I want to use the same rod for a swim jig, swimbait or spinnerbait. Luckily, i'm not good enough to worry about whether I can get 10, 50 or 100 more cast with a super fast reel. As I stated I have enough trouble fishing the 6.3 slow enough with moving baits most of the time. Plus, I think the logic was injected when reelmech said he contacted the manf. and they said its for getting the empty lure in faster. .

Can you please stop fishing with out Steve. The pictures are so much better.
  8. Nice fish.
  9. I've always thought that getting the lure back quicker was about the only thing they are good for. I have a tought enough time fishing a lot of baits slow enough with the 6.3:1. For me I just have to think about slowing down way to much with the burner reels. I know others will disagree, but I hate them.
  10. The sammy and then the sammy
  11. I love this Idea as well. Bassn Blvd why don't you pick a lure and catch and pic a fish with it. Then mail the lure it to me. PM for address. Once I catch a fish with it I will post the pic and mail the lure to korea. I suggest making it a simple and durable lure like a spinnerbait. That way if it gets torn up by a member it will be easy to replace.
  12. In response to fishtank it should be noted that i've only used it on baitcasters.

I'm a pretty big sports fan, but I could care less about the Superbowl this year. As a cowboy fan I hate the Giants, as a human I can't stand Eli. If anybody gos 19-0 I want it to be the Cowboys. So i'm stuck with no rooting interest which is pretty boring. If I didn't have to work today I would of just gone fishing.
  14. I always thought that P-line CXX came in copoly. I could be an idiot hear and completly wrong, but I didn't know they made 2 versions of it. I've never investigated it much b/c I took a lake fork guides suggestion on it and have been so happy i've never looked back. The only one i've ever bought comes in a light green box. Even though I just buy the bulk spools now.
  15. Tin, I quit fishing every other line once I had fished P-line CXX for about a month. I'm sure there is other great lines, but this stuff is tough. Matt
  16. I don't think it can be said better. Congrats.
  17. simply wow.
  18. I plan on throwing some swimbaits a little this year. The biggest one will probably be the Mattlures ultimate bluegill(2oz). I don't have a rod rated for over 1 1/4, but I would prefer not to get just a swimbait since I don't really know how much i'll be throwing them. So i'm thinking that if I could get a rod that I could fish swimbaits, deep cranks and some deps realizers(1.5oz) that I just got that would be great. Problem is that buy looking at swimbaits rods online fast-xfast action seems to be preferred, but would be horrible for treble hook lures. If I got a MH moderate action(cranking stick) rated for lures up to 2.5oz could I use it productively for swimbaits? Or is the moderate action a big no no in swimbaits?
  19. Excellent point. We shouldn't assume that people that should know better do. my mistake for missing that.
  20. In America anyone can become President. It is the risk you take. In the spirit of Basshunter69 this is not my quote. Google it, it is a title of a book
  21. Excellent post Fluke. I agree with your assumptions of him 100%. I hope the young people reading this post take to heart what you said. We are involved in a great sport/pastime. It happens to be one where "fish stories" are somewhat a right of passage. However, just like anything else there are lines that must not be crossed. Adding a few oz. to a fish is one thing, but intentionally lying to harm others is inexcusable. I wouldn't blame yourself for issuing the go ahead on people giving this guy stuff. One you didn't make anyone do it. Of course, I know you already realize this. More importantly it speaks volumes that you checked into before isssuing the go ahead. It is not your fault that Bass Resource was one of the first sites this guy started scamming. You had very limited info to go on.
  22. I didn't rewatch the video, but i'm pretty sure I saw Time Square in there somewhere. Us southerners are somtimes confused by fancy terms like the mason-dixon line, but I think thats noth of it .
  23. I think he shut down his e-mail. I sent him an e-mail offering him a forum to issue a public apology, but it was undeliverable. I cc'ed Bobby at MegaStrike on the e-mail hoping that he could get my contact info to him. I hope the guy takes me up on my offer
  24. I think he also has some trouble with MegaStrike now. I e-mailed Bobby to ask him about the sponsorship, and tell him of my intentions to quit using his products if the business relationship continued. Bobby almost immeaditely e-mailed asking me to call him. After explaining several of the things this guy had done He said he was going to tell him he had to issue a public apology on ever forum owning up to everything and apologize or throw his shirt in the trash. I just hope he is not banned from all the sites when he gets around to apologizing. It should be mentioned that Bobby knew nothing of this when he sent BassHunter the shirt. It also wasn't and earned sponsorship per say as much as helping someone he thought was in need. Bobby is a great guy and he really handled this matter professionally and promptly.
