...ugh. i started drivers ed on monday, got my learner's permit today, and drove with the insturctor yesterday and im going to do it again tomorrow. this is why i havent been on much this week and i wont be on much next week. any safe driving tips?

Yes that is definitley a problem with your rod, not the line. monofilament line should never damage any guide, so the guide must be very poor quality.

i used to slip the hook under their gill, but they would often go wild and slash all around, so i didnt wanna risk hurting their gills, so i went home and sharpened the hook to a point (they usually come dull) and now i just poke it thru their bottom lip. much easier and more secure.

ok thanks. on the 200, it just slides right out, so i didnt want to force it out of the 100, for fear of damaging it, but i guess thats what ya gotta do.

on my citica 200D, when i open the side plate, i can just grab the spool and pull it right out. when i open the sideplate of the 100DSV, i can grab the spool, but it doesnt come out? how do i remove the spool?

it might not be a revo. did you see where it said revo? because at the dicks around here i have seen abugarcia silver max reels/lightning rod combos. and the silver max's didnt have red spools either. the silver max and revo do look similar, so it might not even be a revo. either way thats still a good deal because i hear the silver max's are pretty good, and the lightning rods are probably the best sub $100 rod i have used.

not sure about depth, but i know they change colors with their surroundings. bass in murky water are pale, bass in clear water will be darker, and bass holding in weeds and other dense veggies will be darker.

i usually pack light and bring 2: St. Croix AC70MF/Shimano Citica 200D/50lb powerpro for worms, jigs, spinnerbaits, etc. St. Croix AC66MM/Shimano Citica 100DSV/15lb Yo Zuri Hybrid for anything with trebels. sometimes i will bring my pflueger UL combo with me if i wanna have some fun w/ small bass and panfish.

yeah my citica 200D has a Malaysia sticker on it, but my 100DSV is stamped JAPAN.
