I'm thinking hot tea but feel free to chime in about iced teas as well.

I drink the regular tea bag stuff for iced & sometimes for hot.

I'm starting to venture out a little and have tried Earl Gray & English breakfast from my local tea shop for hot teas.

I didn't care for the Earl Gray but I like the English breakfast.

Any suggestions on what to try next & or what you do & don't like?

I drink a lot of hot tea. I have tried some of the more exotic stuff, and find regular black Lipton is fine for me most of the time. I use a 12 oz mug and two regular tea bags. I like my tea like my coffee-hot and black.

For the most part same here Kmac.

I don't put anything in it just black.

I even go with decaffeinated if at all possible.

The reason that I am looking around is that I was at a work conference a couple of years ago and picked up

a random plain Jane tea bag. That turned out to be the best tea I have ever had.

The others are not even a close 2nd. I failed to get the name on the bag. I'm not so sure that it wasn't Lipton. For some reason it was just unimaginably good.

I don't know whether it was extra fresh or aged or what.

If I ever happen to find it again I will send some your way.

Sounds good FFI. Thanks. I am always willing to try different teas and and coffees, but always come back to my standard Lipton black and Folgers premium dark roast. When my mother was alive she was always making other teas and trying to convince me they were better...if I find anything interesting I will let you know.

Teavana If don't have a store they have a online store as well!!.We have a store in our mall. It's all tea leaves. Earl Grey is one of their cheaper, most common teas. I love Samurai Chai mate & White Ayurvedic Chai. It's a mixture blended together from Teavana. I also like Oolong teas. Youthberry white tea is good too. Last year I bought the wife a cast iron tea kettle and a warmer for tea. With Ceramic you can only brew the same teas in those pots. We also get the German Rock Sugar as well.

Only thing is when getting into Tea leaves is that you must keep them in tin cans for freshness.

 

On Teavana website it explains everything you need to know. There are other tea sites out there but since we have Teavana store I just deal with them. Starbucks Tazo teas isn't bad either.My wife always get the Passion tea from there when we go.

Just plain ol' Lipton or Luzianne brewed in a tea maker with 1 1/3 cup of sugar. That reminds me I need to make a fresh pitcher right quick!.

I like Lipton Green Tea. For black tea I like English Breakfast and Ceylon Black. Then I go back to Milo's or Lipton for cold sweet tea.

Lipton tea for me as well, sweetend of course, at least when I use it for drinking,  it also goes really great with some of the cooking I do when added into some of my broths as well, it really adds a brisk flavor to chicken recipies.

Used to drink about a 2 litre of soda a day.  About 5 years ago I switched over to Lipton green tea.  Now I can't even hardly look at a soda.

Bigelow Organic Green Tea for me - at least 2-3 cups per day. At home, decaf iced tea.

Earl Grey

I happen to be drinking of Bigelow Organic Green Tea right now.

We always have a pitcher of Lipton cold brew in the fridge at home. I love their green tea with citrus if I'm buying a bottle of tea at the gas station or something. 

I like Bigelow Earl Grey and their green tea. They also have an Earl Grey/Green Tea mixture which is pretty good.

 

For you guys who use 2 teabags, next time just use 1, but use a spoon and really squeeze the bag in the cup for a while to get all the flavor out. I like my tea really dark, and fiddling with the bag is a great way to make it dark, although it is a bit of a hassle.

Teavana hands down! If you like black teas, golden monkey and copper knot are unbelievably good. I can't drink tea brewed from the bag type anymore, all I get is the taste of paper! Brew loose tea correctly and you will never go back!!

Quanjig- Where else is there a Teavana shop in Va? I know of the one in Spotsy Mall and that's the one I shop at.

The only one I know of is at the fair oaks mall here in nova.

Sounds like you need to cutback on the amount of tea you consume.  There is a plan that has worked everytime it has been used.

 

Drink tea only on the days of the week that end in "y".
