How Cold Where You Are?

Featured Replies

Last night we hit -16 degrees with a wind chill of -40.  When I woke up this morning it was -14 degrees with a wind chill of -33.  Got to my office and the vacuum pumps are frozen and the air lines seem to be froze somewhere as well.  Hoping to get them unthawed soon as I have already called of 1 day this week due to extreme snow.

It was -3 this morning running erands, windchill was around -25 or so. It warmed up to 4° with a wc -14 now. Those 35mph wind gusts aren't fun either

53 degrees.  All week expecting lows of 32 and highs of 68.

Keep safe guys.  Weather that cold is downright deadly.

It's so cold the local Baskin-Robbins is selling soup today!

Balmy one today, 8* when I got up @ 4:00 AM with a wind chill of -3*. The wind chill was much cooler in Boston with the wind coming off the Charles @ 6:00 AM.

The gauge said -12 this morning.  I didnt want to crawl out of bed.

Been way too warm and dry out here. Low was only 35 today, high of 58, and the snow in my yard is almost all gone. Not a good winter for us at all so far. That being said, I'd take it over those (-) temps you guys have been having... yikes!

Temperature isn't bad but been a down pour all night and still raining.  With the outgoing tide there is no way that I won't be fishing this morning.

Roads flooded so bad I couldn't make it but a mile, I can bass fish in the street in front of my house.

One of our lakes overflood it's bank all the way over to the houses about 75' away.  Officially 10" but the TV said unoffiical reports of 18" of rain fell, more coming this afternoon.

That's some crazy weather right there. Glad you didn't get flooded at your place. That being said, it would be pretty cool to catch some bass off the front lawn!

I personally got lucky, some of my neighbors did have water damage.  One of our friend's community had water up to the headlights, her car was towed in with $1500 in damage, she is only 2 miles from us.  1 young kid was throwing a senko in the middle of the street, lol, just glad I didn't see any mocs swimming around.  I'm going to see if I can get out this morning, the flood gates are open maybe the snook will be on fire.  Reports are we had nearly 2' of rain, the Delray/Boynton area where I live seemed to be about the hardest hit.

From 5 degrees Tuesday morning to 42 yesterday and 57 rite now. And my sinuses are messed up from it to!

They said for us to leave a faucet dripping Monday and Tuesday nights. Not to keep our home pipes from freezing but there main lines. First time I've heard that one. But it made since. Considering I no of at least one place it's close to the surface in a valley due to bedrock. And it has frozen there in past years. Hope everyone there left there's poring. If not it's still frozen. Lol.

And I also noticed the county buildings like the post office had straw bales siting on the water meter lids. Considering it hasn't been getting that cold for the last few years. I'm shocked! They have never been this prepared for anything in the past.

Spent last Friday & Saturday shoveling a healthy stack of snow off the roof.

Though not a workout per se, clearly the most physically demanding evolution I participate in these days.

And right on cue - we got another foot last night ~ Good Times.

Nope - not at all -

It's finished walk out with a family room, third bedroom and a overlly themed Boston Sports Bar.
