Yep. What a-jay said. I've had the most success on the 5XD and 6XD. Normans are great. Haven't tried the 6th sense yet though... Heard good things about it.

How has no one mentioned a Rapala DT yet?!

I have no idea what the "best" ones are, and frankly don't care. I like the SK 5xd and 6xd........good enough for me.

Define what you consider "best" cuz a lotta times your best is not my best or his best or their best. I LIKE Rapala DTs in all their depths, Mann's Stretch series have caught me many fish and some very nice ones.

What about the Storm Wiggle Warts?  Like those, the DD-22's, SK 3, 3XD, 5XD, 6XD, Bomber Fat Free Shad Shad

I like those too, Rapala Shad Rap in all it´s forms sizes and variations, actually I´ve caught more on those than with any other lipped crank

Well lets see... In the late 90's I loved Yozuri's 1oz. Deep diver, over all time, I would say the Bomber fat free shad is my favorite at 6.99. In fact, I like the fat free shad in all diving models..

Rapala shad raps are very good as well. Balsa

As with most hardbaits, I like the academy h2o line for value.

Fat frees and 5-6xds round out my arsenal.
