Mad Max, and James Bond when he was played by Sean Connery.

I nominate these three in a witty and entertaining movie (My Cousin Vinny) . . .

Vinny Gambini (Joe Pesci)

Mona Lisa Vito (Marisa Tomei)

Judge Chamberlain Haller (Fred Gwynne)

Bogie and Bacall were pretty good too.

Thank you TCM for keeping these old movies alive.

They're about the only game left since AMC went to producing their own shows about zombies and druggies!

James Whitmore as "Sgt Kinnie" in Battleground

John Wayne as "Sgt Stryker" in Sands of Iwo Jima

For me it is a tossup between Carl Spackler & Al Czervik.

"Cinderella story, about to win the Masters..." versus "Hey Whitey, where's your hat?"

Just watched Joan Crawford in Mildred Pierce this morning.

After seeing this movie several times, I still can't figure out if Momma Mildred or Daughter Veda (Ann Blyth) was the bigger villain.

Interesting observation on the generation gap regarding movie characters and types of movies.  Quite often I prefer the older  B&W movies without the modern special affects.

In my original response, I listed two actors and not the character. Without a doubt mine would be James Bond. I really don't care which actor, though Sean Connery was may fav.
