What's your favorite bait for heavy vegetation punching? So far for me it's a pit boss or a paca craw/punch.

I'd say 90% of the time I use a RI Sweet Beaver.

Have been known to toss a Rage Bug from time to time but only as a change up.

For me a Sweet Beaver has the right size, shape, action and the longevity I need for punch bait.

Ya know, I bought a package of the Shellcracker's probably over a year ago now, and haven't even opened it yet.

I may try one tomorrow.

Black Dog Baits Fake Fish!!! Many big fish on this.

Otherwise I just use a Keitech Fat Impact.

D-Bomb's, Paca Punch, Zoom Speed Craw, etc. There are others but these are the ones I can think of at the moment. Both sizes of the D-Bomb are what I'm mainly punching these days.

RI sweet beaver Black neon, low blow or June bug.. 1.5 ounce tungsten ... If not sweet beaver it's a d bomb, rage bug or the new zoom z craw

Was the pit boss, until I tried the new yum bad mamma. Stays on and holds a hook better when punching, is more stream lined and compact yet still bulky.

I like a NetBait Super BK tube as I've just started using this technique.  A tube is my confidence bait, so I figure to stick with it seeing as I have so many.

Rage Bug, DB Craw, Rodent (both sizes) Paca Craw Jr, Biffle Bugs(all 3), VM Hula Bug....all depends on what the fish want but each work under different conditions.

I've been around Robin's barn with punch baits:

'Zoom Big Critter Craw' => 'Sweet Beaver' => 'Havoc Craw Fatty' => 'Jackall Sasuateki' => 'Rage Lobster' => 'D Bomb'.  

Today it's the 5" 'Zoom Z-Craw - black light' (1¼ oz weight - No skirt)
