BLACK JITTERBUG ( The big one ) And a spit-n-image

I'm not much of a topwater fisherman but I had good luck last year using the rage toad and rage craw as topwater in some small ponds for bass and pickerel.

Buzzbait...But looking forward to using the whopper stopper in June

Right now is the Spro Rat. That thing just gets bit, I was getting bites on it in February!!

Booyah pad crasher................I don't fish  treble hooked topwaters anymore.................heck I don't even own any right now.

In Florida this Feb. it was the pop shadz - 100 bass up to over 7lbs. They were warming up to whopper plopper and spook when I headed home to the hills and brown fish.

Can't beat a Heddon Torpedo w/upgraded hardware. Or a LC Prop

Pop R in the morning, Pad crasher during the day, Jitterbug at dusk/dark is my favorite combo.

An interesting thread to read for sure...

I've caught more topwater fish on a buzzbait than anything else.

Do I have to pick just one!!!! Spook, Horny Toad, whopper plopper to name a few!!!!

In my neck of the woods "the big one" is a Musky size Jitterbug. :devil3:

Hollow body frog followed up closely by the 90mm Whopper Plopper.  But that may change with the smaller versions of that Spro Rat.

1) Hollow body frog

2) Pop-R

That is wright! I fish the big black Musky one! KILLER- why wast your time one the little one. I just change out the hooks to VMC 5/0 .:ok-wink:

Weightless Zoom Trick Worm-the "floating worm"

Zoom Horny Toad

It's hard to beat watching a bass blow up on a horny toad. Watching the fish swim away chomping on the bait trying to kill it is an added bonus. Seeing your trick worm disappear in a swirl of water is always cool, too.

Super Spook Jr. color dependent on what type water I'm fishing.  Lately though the Pompadour out produces everything.
