I had the best fishing day of my young life yesterday. I caught my new PB (6 pounds and 2 ounces) and several 14 inchers. I even caught a 3.0 pounder bass and a huge turtle that I thought was gonna be a DD bass.

You guys may not think that it looks like a 6 pounder, but that's just because all the pictures we see now are inaccurate representations of the fish's size.

My great uncle also caught a 3 pound 6 ounce bass.

All around it was a great blessed day!

The is one nice sized largemouth. I agree that the tv style of how to hold a bass (long arming) is getting crazy. Hard to tell a two pounder from a 10 pounder. Glad to hear you had a great day on the water.

Looks like a 6 to me good job! Looks like you pulled her out of some chocolate milk too. Long arming is fine, makes the fish look great! Exaggerating about the size of a bass is where the problems begin 

Nice job  son.  That's a nice solid fish anyone would be proud of.  As young as you are that PB will be beat by you many times.  Just spend time on the water, and your line wet!

Hahaha that my friend is classified information. 

Naw I'm just kidding I'm not a snobby old man who thinks he can catch all the fish in the river by himself. I caught her on a Gary Yamamoto Chikara. Color: Goldfish. She hammered on that thing too. I mean she hit it like a ton of bricks. I had a biscuit in my mouth when she hit and I was hollering through my mouthful. Tight lines dude! And by the way it would definitely be worth picking one of those square bills up in my opinion.
